The Fifth Kind: The Changelings · 1:12pm Jun 8th, 2014
Introduction
Wow. So this is the most adult episode from MLP. Finding a vocation is a hard thing to do, especially with a crippling fear of failure.
Seeing the dynamic between Fluttershy and Zephyr Breeze was a delight to watch, especially seeing 'Shy so... peeved. Her being stern towards him shows just how much she's grown as a character, and her encouraging of her brother was certainly the highlight of this episode's moral.
I love you Kat! I know I already said it, but this fact can't be said enough... ever. I love you more than anything, and I wrote this song especially for you.
Okay you know something? This episode was really good in my opinion. It's showing that Fluttershy, as meek as she's known to be, is very capable of being assertive and feeling annoyed and angry as any other pony is, she just does not like showing it all that much. In this episode though, she doesn't hide it and it's great. It shows us just how far Fluttershy's come since the first season, and that she might actually not even be the meekest one in her family.
And speaking of family.
Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
It's almost that time of year, so here we go--a new chapter for Nocturne's Hearts and Hooves Day woes, and the mare he cares about most in this world.
Happy reading!
Stay quick, stay sharp, and thanks for reading!
Second chapter to "The Flutters" is up, unedited, and ready to be read, er... ish. Unedited, though I reiterate, I digress, it should be readable enough.
I need to stop writing at night or something. Enjoy folks!
Warning: Spoilers abound. Proceed with caution.
So! We finally get to see Fluttershy's family. I've been clamoring for this kind of episode for a long time, and I gotta say, it did not disappoint. Got a lot to say about this one, so let's just get right to it.
Just noticed that I've hit 300 followers.
Okay, so instead of continuously pissing you, my readers, off with yet another delay and simply saying something along the lines of 'oops, me lazy, me slow writer', I'm instead going to reach out you and inquire as to your opinion on certain story elements.
Fluttershy in isolation.
Something staring in the dark.
A standoff between life and death...

Story Description:
So Fluttershy's brother sure was....something. Let's take a look at just what the something is, shall we?
Let’s take a moment to consider what we know about the Mane Six’s families and when we learned about them.
Sweet and Smoky was an interesting episode. Beat nick poet Garble was interesting. I kinda figured that Garble might be Smolder's brother, but this episode definitely confirmed that outright. This was a good episode. Good Spike episode as well. Definitely interesting. Also loved Fluttershy this episode and Ember was just funny. Good episode even if a bit easy to figure out the beats of. Also, Fluttershy's love for baby dragons is absolutely adorable. Was at the beginning of the show and still
"What do you mean, I'll have no computer until December?"
Fate smiled. "You have three guesses."
"But that's way too long! What am I going to do until then?! I need a new laptop now!"
"Thought luck. You should have taken better care of the old one."
"But I have classes and stuff! I need a computer to--!"
"You won't have one."
"But why?!"
While watching "Flutter Brutter", I couldn't help but grin at the irony that Fluttershy's brother is a lazy slacker who will find creative and ridiculous ways to get out of doing work, considering who Fluttershy ends up forming a sibling-like bond with in I Against I, Me Against You.
I've been sitting on this one for a while now. It was late in 2014, and while Rainbow Rocks had restored my faith in the show after Twilight's Kingdom, I was still in kind of a funk. Mostly because of some personal reasons, as at that point I was still feeling kind of directionless in regards to IRL stuff, partially because of my lack of progress on any of my major stories, either on here or with my original ideas, and partially because I kept trying to write but everything coming out of my
It happened again. I just finished checking the new chapters of today and returned to the frontpage and there I found "Aunt Millie" in the Popular Stories list:
It's the second time now this happened for me. And with "Aunt Millie" here, it's even better than with my Flurry Heart fic!
Sirens In The Distance is finished! I intend to turn my focus to Lunch Break and Contrast, and then once one of those two is also ready, it'll be time for me to tackle the big one: Of Responsibility! Progress is being made, folks.
Needs Editing
Fluttering, Shimmering (Chapter 1)
Harbringers (Chapter 1)
The Atlantis Scenario (Chapter 2)
Sirens In The Distance (Oneshot)
Needs Rewriting
Temptation Waits (Chapter 2) ~90%
The wait is over. Following "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!", the second one of my currently on-going fics, "Aunt Millie", returns as well with a new chapter!

This chapter turned out surprisingly short. Originally, I wanted to write much, much more, twice as much as what you can read now, but then I decided against it and rather chose to make two chapters out of what I have in mind.
