As we are currently in a general election campaign in the UK, I am going to take Fluttershy Leans In as a parable of NHS bed blocking. A story which plays out as follows:
As we are currently in a general election campaign in the UK, I am going to take Fluttershy Leans In as a parable of NHS bed blocking. A story which plays out as follows:
The UK has, by the looks of things, voted to leave the EU.
The pound is already down 10%.
And by that I mean 12%, as it has fallen an additional 2% since I found out that Brexit is, apparently, happening.
The economists did warn them.
Ah well. In for a penny, in for a pound.
At the present rate, that will be the exchange rate when I get up tomorrow..
European politics is a subject which I have quite a lot to say about, but which I know most Fimfiction readers don’t care about quite as much about as I do. So I don’t blog too much about it, but given the importance of the coming referendum, it deserves a post.
Just how bad have things gotten since Trump was elected?
The head law enforcement officer of the United States was on the board of a scam company that claimed proof of Bigfoot and sold investment in time-travel.
Just let that sink in for a bit. And if you voted Trump, ask yourself... is this really what you wanted? Honestly?
WARNING: POLITICAL RANTS FROM A SLEEPY HIGH SCHOOLER.
Hey, how's it going?
Just stopping by to point out that abortion is a human right. Anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong.
For anyone who needs transportation to another state for...reasons, https://elevatedaccess.org/ provides free airplane rides to people in need.
Less than fifty miles from my house, the real world is indistinguishable from a postapocalyptic video game.

Today was a cold day for many reasons. That's why y'all get some Kansas.
RIP Stan "The Man" Lee. Excelsior! Okay, now on with the show...
I've got a review set which is going to go up later today, but I thought I would remark on the new lows that American politics have brought us this year.
I get why people are attracted to both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, in many ways they are a lot alike. Both are not afraid to speak what they feel needs to be said. Both have defied the odds and come out with great support from various walks of life, but with a center core (for Sanders it’s Millennials and Trump it’s grassroots workers). Both are anti-establishment and have shaken up the political game. Both are honest in their policies and passionate about them such as Sander’s and his
America just made it legal for homosexuals to join us married plebs in our misery. Hooray!
But why stop there?

This is not a joke post, I am in fact serious. Relationships of this nature do exist and I do feel they should be recognised. I mean, why not? It's only fair.
Okay, guys. There's something I'd like to discus. And I'd like everyone to keep open-minded about it.
I am generally a leftist when it comes to politics but I try to keep it to matters that actually demand political statements.
Fimfics are not one of them.
Some of you may have noticed Royal Flush's resemblance to...President You-Know-Who.
But I do not want to turn the Boulette storyline into a left-wing diatribe and alienate people.
We're all entitled to our political opinions.
“What we are seeing right now in the era of increasing polarization is the consequence of a serious war of ideas that has been going on for, I suppose, one hundred and fifty years.” [1]
I’m not usually political, heck I try to stay away from politics as far and much as possible. But this past year or so has made it very hard, and to that end I made a shirt. You can find it here, I don’t have high hopes for it selling, but I feel that the movement has to start somewhere.
It has come to my attention that some people on this site don't understand how the internet works, at least here in the US of A. Those of you who stumble upon this blog who aren't from the US are invited to stick around and maybe learn something. Maybe you won't. Maybe you already know all of this. Or maybe you will read this and deny and disagree with what I'm trying to say. That is your own business, and for those of you who are US Citizens, it is also your Right as protected by the
Yes! It is I! Ruby the Great and Soon-To-Be-Well-Read, and also Not Dead. It's been far too long since we've last spoken, but it's also been far too busy and stressful lately to be able to tack anything down here, as I'd have next to nothing to report. But for now, I do have something to report: A completed book, and a soon to be completed book. That is, Rosseau's The Social Contract (complete) and Martin Van Creveld's A History of Strategy: From Sun Tzu to William S. Lind
Welcome back writers! It’s Monday—or Friday, if you’re a Patreon Supporter—which means we’re back with another Being a Better Writer topic to take a look at.
I cant stand either fking candidate and, frankly, this election is like the montage in a post apocalyptic movie showing how the world went to heck in a handbasket. People in my family and who I care for are gunna vote Trump cause they cant stand Clinton and others are gunna vote hilary because they hate trump
