Welcome back writers! It’s Monday—or Friday, if you’re a Patreon Supporter—which means we’re back with another Being a Better Writer topic to take a look at.
And this week’s topic is actually a follow-up of sorts to a prior topic that in turn was a reader request which, while I was satisfied with, threatened at every turn to open up a larger can of worms. In addition to leaving me personally feeling as though I’d only managed about three-quarters of the actual request.
So today we’re going to dive into that other twenty-five percent. We’re going to talk about the bits of that post on who our characters trust that ended up not quite making the last topic, because it would have ballooned into something truly too gigantic. We’re going to step past the edge of that script, and talk about a truly tricky subject.
Politic. More specifically, how to use politics in our stories to good effect. So hit the jump.
