Trixie had it all, once. Respect, fame, adoring fans.

Now she has nothing. No magic. No respect. No fame or riches. She doesn't even have all four legs anymore. Unable to deal with it, Trixie tries to run away one more time, only to find out that there's some things you just can't run from.

Trixie Lulamoon has always been a theatrical and imaginative filly living in her own world where she gets to be one great and powerful hero or another, and now that she's starting school at the esteemed Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, she hopes to make her dreams come true! But when school proves it may be more then she can handle, the young filly lets her imagination run wild and it brings her on a few adventures inside and out of class!

You have to wonder, what kind of parents could have brought such a great, gracious, and powerful pony into the world? One who came to believe she deserved to be seen on stage, seemingly worshipped. Well, truth be told you know the showmare's family quite well, perhaps even better than you think.

Trixie has never really had a Christmas with somepony else. Not since her childhood. She can still feel the heat of her old fireplace giving her warm feelings through the night. But tonight, she is penniless and cold. Will anypony invite her in?

The Great and Powerful Trixie has always had one goal: To be recognised as the great and powerful magician that she is. Especially by one particular Unicorn.

But one day, Trixie loses all of her memories, and is found injured by Fluttershy. Twilight decides to help Trixie on her road to recovery, and thus Trixie's new life in Ponyville begins.

There is a lot to teach Trixie, but with the friendship of Twilight and the rest of Ponyville, the road to recovery should be a happy one...At least, that's the hope.

The Great and Powerful Trixie receives a visit from her future self. Well, of course she does, being the most talented magician in all of Equestria... However, her future self dies before her eyes, telling Trixie that she has only four days left to live...

My pride has been killing me ever since I started down this path, and I have helped it along all the way. With every decision I've made, with every boast I've shouted, with every crime I've committed, it's strangled me more and more, it's cut out the foal my parents once knew and the mare that I could have been. Maybe, if things had gone differently, I could have been useful with my life, I could have helped somepony. Maybe I could have been truly great.

Now, though, it's too late. I can't take back any of the decisions I've made, I can't rewind time and warn myself of how I was destined to fail, of how I was poisoning my mind with fruitless hopes and vain reasoning. All I have left is this paper on which I can jot down my final thoughts, this pen with which I can make a record of my sins. As pitiful as it is, this is all I can do to redeem myself. This is my only way to atone...
