Rainbow Dash is unquestionably the bravest pony in Equestria. But that doesn't mean she isn't afraid. After a tragic accident with her friend Fluttershy, who is still traumatized by her flight school experiences, Dash is forced to face another side of herself... one that she hoped she'd never have to.

Rainbow Dash stands atop her father in a crowd full of pegasi. Massive anticipation lingered in the air. The little filly was certain Cloudsdale would get to host the Equestria games.

But what happens when they don't? What will a father do to comfort his crestfallen daughter whose hopes were shattered in a matter of seconds.

Starlight just wanted to ask Pinkie if she would go to Twilight's dinner the next day. Just that. She never wanted to go to Pinkie's room and discover the weirdest thing she has ever seen, and we are talking about Pinkie Pie. She just wanted a "yes" or a "no" and it would be fine.

But obviously, things don't always go as planned for Starlight.
