After a terrifying nightmare, Applejack discovers that the truth can hide in many places waiting for a moment to reveal itself, including within her own heart.

Applejack finds herself having to take a drunken Rarity back to her house. All does not go as planned.

In the Swayback Mountains, a violent storm and its aftermath force Rarity and Applejack to reappraise their feelings for each other.

Rarity, being the element of generosity, is a pony one would expect to except and support every decision her friends make. One day there is a shocking a revelation among all of her friends that puts that to the test however. It is then, after agreeing to meet with Twilight to discuss the matter, that she comes to question what it really is that defines her, and realises what she must sacrifice for her friend's happiness.

After the Gala, Applejack has a little too much to drink, and Rarity agrees to escort her home; but then, much to Rarity's embarrassment, Applejack decides that right then and there is the perfect time to confront the unicorn about their true feelings for one another.

It's a simple agreement: Rarity will take Applejack to a proper gallery opening, and in turn, Applejack gets to take Rarity to something called a 'hootenanny.' What could possibly go wrong?

Rarity has a secret. Well, two secrets. First, she has a crush on one particular pony. And second, she has been writing a story for the object of her affections, to reveal her love. But when word gets out about her literary abilities, suddenly all of her friends want her help on their own writing projects. And all of them need to be done by Hearts and Hooves Day! Could Rarity not be the only one with a hidden agenda here? And how exactly will she manage so many projects in such a short period of time?
