As Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie are about to make their way into the Everfree Forest for the first time, Bowser decides to mix things up in his world by swapping Mario with a different hero. Chaos erupts as both heroes try to find out what they have to do to get back home.

This story I'm making here is not only my sequel to the Turnabout Storm video series by NeoArtimus. It is also a sequel to Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies.

Eight years have passed since the famous Phoenix Wright cleared the name of Rainbow Dash. He was currently on vacation with his friends and adopted daughter since no murder case turned up. But just then, he was summoned back to Equestria. Only this time, not alone, for he brought his friends and adopted daughter with him. Now they'll be spending their vacation in Equestria, which has some serious cases going on, each harder than the last. Unknown to them, something dark and evil is watching from the sidelines.

Sunset is bored. Discord is bored. What better way to solve their problems than a wacky time travel adventure? A trip to a strange and mysterious era, where nothing makes sense, and everything Sunset knows about the world is called into question.

The Nineteen-Eighties.

The chaotic nature of the chaos emeralds had been strong enough to reawakened a past evil in Equestria. Sonic had fallen from the sky only to wake up in a strange library talking to a purple dragon. However, Sonic was not the only one to cross into Equestria. Eggman wakes up in a strange throne room in the middle of a forest hearing voices of a regal and sinister voice calling out to him. And Discord laughs manically as he uncovers a large gem filled with chaotic energy. Can Sonic, Twilight, and the rest of the wielders of the Elements of Harmony stop Discord from ruling all of Equestria?

Sonic the Hedgehog wakes up one early morning and finds him a gem that teleports him to Equestria

A desperate attack by Doctor Eggman on Sonic & Co. during a party lands them all in a new adventure, this time on a brand new world. With the Master Emerald shattered, and the Chaos Emeralds scattered, they must now band together with new friends to collect them all. But as always evil looks to gain control of the powerful gems, and this time they're backed already by incredible power. More than two worlds are at stake in the upcoming confrontation: Can the Mobians and Equestrians stop the evil Emperor and his minions? And who is the stranger that joins them in this quest? How will his appearance change the course of everything?

The blast of pure love that Shining Armor and Princess Cadence created to defeat the changelings had an unintended side effect: it brought in a blue hedgehog and a two-tailed fox who had just finished defeating their enemy Eggman with the help of their "classic" selves. While Rainbow Dash and Sonic race to see who's the fastest thing alive, Twilight Sparkle and Tails try and find out how the heck a gateway opened up between their worlds. Unbeknownst to our heroes, Dr. Eggman has escaped his exile with the help of none other than Doctor Whooves. Eggman plans to destroy Sonic once and for all. But has Eggman unleashed something he can't control once again? Or will he finally learn the error of his ways?

When Twilight tries to solve the space/time paradox, a strange sound comes from her room, breaking her concentration, sending her and the gang way off coarse. With the gang separated and in new "human" body's, in a strange new world of super heroes and villains, how will the mane six ever survive?
