This was written in about an hour for a myriad of reasons, including a want to actually get some writing done, a personal goal of trying to write a short story in about 1,000 words, and for fun.

This story has received some major edits as of April 22, including beefing up the content of several logs, adding some new logs, and other alterations throughout the story, both plot-wise and grammatical.

When darkness and despair comes to claim you, it doesn't matter what you fight for, so long as you fight for something that matters.

This is a side-story to Fade

Like End and Fade, this was written more for fun and to make something that goes against my usual style. Same warnings apply for End as they do here, with the exception of more blood, but I highly recommend that you read that one first in order to have a good grasp of what's going on.

Pinkie Pie awakens one morning to find a strange lump on her back. She doesn't think it's a big deal, but as time goes on it grows and bizarre changes begin to take place inside her.

In Ponyville, something is stalking the citizens. Can anypony stop what's happening before it's too late and their world is irrevocably changed? Of course, you can only save the day if the danger hasn't found you before you even know it's there.

Written for Write-Off's Nightmare Night 'transformations' contest. Is meta-horror a genre? Well, it is now.

Sequel to 'No Glimmer of Hope'

The wicked false former king of the Crystal Empire survived the power of the Crystal Heart, and since then had been wandering Equestria, waiting patiently as his strength slowly returned.

He stumbled across a snowy mountain, and found a cave in which he took refuge in.

The darkness in the mountains tunnels shall offer him no mercy.

This is Ponyville, a small, quaint town full of friendly, happy ponies, and is simply the best place to raise a foal. Or is it? Read to find out!

"Why are you late?" questioned Applejack. Her countenance continued to wrinkle in worry.

"Because this is not an appointment, Applejack. There were others close to you that required my attention," responded Death

Others close to you that required my attention. Disbelief roiled inside Applejack. Her entire body turned hot, then cold, then hot again. Anger rose within her, so great it seared the breath from her lungs. She turned to Death screaming, "Who did you take th—" That's when she saw it.

Starlight Glimmer ran into the tunnels of the snowy mountains after narrowly evading capture at the hooves of the ponies she had tried to teach her ideals of true friendship and harmony to before they turned against her.

It is in these tunnels she ran into. It is these tunnels that she will remain. Forever.

Done as a personal challenge to write a quick Season 5-based fanfic in half an hour. I hope I did good.
