I write stuff sometimes.

This story is a sequel to End

In the middle of a dilapidated hospital during the end of the world, a doctor fights against memories from his past in order to save the life of his patient.

Now has a dramatic reading thanks to ObabScribbler!

This is a side-story to Fade

Like End and Fade, this was written more for fun and to make something that goes against my usual style. Same warnings apply for End as they do here, with the exception of more blood, but I highly recommend that you read that one first in order to have a good grasp of what's going on.

No comments?! How can that be? Well I can be the first to tell you... AWESOME!!!
Intense, sad, and just a little disturbing. I salute you :twilightsmile:

NOOOOOOO GILDA!!!! :fluttershbad::raritycry:

What I think we'd all like is a more detailed fic on what this is, why it is happening, and where all the disappeared creature are going. Maybe with somepony going out of hiding? :eeyup:

I just finished reading all three of these and you have my interest! I agree. I would love to know what's going on and causing it to happen. I'd love to see what everyone else is doing and just how things are playing out, outside if the places these ponies are all in!

I'd love to read more! :)

Hi there. I thought you might like to know that the audio version of this fic is now live on YouTube. ^_^

Wow, Scribbler, these are seriously freaking incredible. I can't thank you enough for going through all the effort to make these readings of my stories. They are a lot of fun to listen to, and the fact that you clearly put so much work into them is amazing. (How many different words can I use to say that you're awesome? Honestly, though, thank you so much.)

A neat direction to look at this world from, but I have to admit, I don't get it. :/

Eh, I understand. The basic idea is that, while End and Fade deal with the direct effects of the Fading, this story shows a much more indirect view. The Fading is mentioned very briefly, but its influence is meant to be felt throughout the whole story; the hospital is broken down and unsterile because there's nobody left to run it, and Crow's patient in the flashbacks was only injured because the pegasi pulling the chariot vanished in midair. In addition, it's a much more personal story than the other two, with the Fading serving more as a backdrop than as the main plot, which I can see as being a bit of a turn off for people who read either of the other two.

That being said, thank you for taking the time to look at this story, and even more so for leaving a comment!
