A year after her return, Luna feels as though the ponies of Equestria do not respect her. Another Nightmare night passed and all the ponies wanted her to do was scare them by turning into Nightmare Moon. She wants more than that and assisted by her big sister Celestia and some familiar ponies she takes on a great majority of responsibilities. Is she ready for this? Is she familiar enough with the customs of this time to make sure that the land is safe and peaceful?

Trixie strives to reach this ultimate goal; but rather than simply proclaiming her skill, she will be forced to overcome many obstacles and adapt to her changing circumstances in order to ensure her success. She must face the new challenges set before her; but when adversaries emerge, enemies-turned-friends may be Trixie's only hope.

Applejack was a simple pony, content with a hard day's work and good friends. However, fate decides she's in for a little more than that when an alien crashes into the farm and gives her a strange ring. Now, Applejack is thrust into a war she never expected, part of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lanterns. The enemy? A merciless group of warriors called the Yellow Lanterns, whose brutality is unmatched by any in the universe. Faced with a savagery that she has never encountered before, Applejack must step up and become the iron willed warrior the Green Lanterns, and the universe, need her to be.

Luna's isolation and difficult reentry into Equestrian life has left her without the confidence to communicate with the ponies around her. Especially the one pony she most wants to talk to. Celestia is angry, Twilight is upset and it's all her fault. Then she has an idea... She'll invite Twilight into her dreams. What could possibly go wrong?

After a full day in Canterlot, Twilight and Rarity decide to explore the palace garden's legendary hedge maze. Their attempts to unravel the mysteries of the labyrinth yield some interesting and unexpected results.

Twilight travels to Canterlot to comfort Princess Luna. Thus she spends much time with the royal alicorn -- but not only in the living realm of Equestria. Strange dreams of the regal mare start to overtake her sleep, and soon Twilight realizes that the Princess is triggering feelings she has never felt before.

Can Twilight admit her emotions to Luna? If so, how? And then why is Luna turning into Nightmare Moon again?

Celestia leaves to deal with a foreign crisis, giving her sister a chance to rule alone and become more attached to the modern world. She calls on Twilight Sparkle to advise Luna, hoping her student will be able to draw Luna out of her shell. With two major threats to Equestria already defeated in the past year, it seems like the perfect time to let Luna gain some confidence and experience in the modern world. After all, what are the chances of a third disaster occurring?

Now comes with complimentary tropes.

History is a vague thing. It is written by those who are left behind to tell the tale. Who can tell truth from fiction if any chance for a viable reference is far beyond reach?
