Everypony knows that Pinkie Pie is one of the best bakers in Ponyville. However, one pony is better at making muffins then even the party pony herself and that is Ponyville's clumsy mailpony: Derpy. Her secret? Using deductive reasoning and logic to figure out what type of muffins would be best for certain ponies based on their mood, behavior, looks, mail, and more.

Upon learning this, Pinkie Pie sees a way to give more joy to those she cares about with her treats and asks Derpy to take her on as a student.

Derpy Hooves is a simple mare, with simple tastes. All she wants is a muffin, but forces outside her control conspire against her! Now she needs to go up against Pinkie Pie to get what she wants, but things are rarely that simple in Ponyville.

It doesn't matter how bad her day gets, because he will make it all the better. Even if the mocking laughter roars, drowning out all sound, his voice will always be louder still.
Even on the coldest days, her love will be a sun to warm her up.

So, I admit it, I was, let’s say, “less than sober” while writing this. Somehow I think that made it even more fun to write.

Constructive criticism is welcome, wanna-be critics are not. I do not have enough beer to deal with elitists. If I did, I’d be writing on Equestria Daily, not FiMfic. I’d also probably be too hung-over to write. Either way, I’m rabbit-trailing...

Mother's Day has finally rolled around this year and Dinky couldn't be more excited if she tried. However, it seems that Derpy can't exactly say the same. In an effort to arrange a free day to spend with her filly, she accidentally overworks herself without finishing her last job. Dinky, seeing how hard she's worked for her, vows to finish what her mother had started, even if it means becoming her mother in the process.
