After eight years of schooling in Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle and Spike, her best friend and High School drop-out, move to Ponyville. But things have changed since Twilight was last there. Her friends wont tell her what it is, but something is off about Applejack. She seems different and distant. There's a sadness in her eyes that Twilight has never seen, and she wants to get to the bottom of it.

What was seemingly just a day to play, turned out into something so much more. An ordinary day turns extraordinary, when Applejack learns of her true love for her rainbow maned friend. Both realize this is what they want, and they prove it. A normal night in the barn becomes much more than anypony could have ever thought. Does this happen all by chance? Or does somepony influence it?

When a storm hits Ponyville, Applejack and Rainbow Dash are forced to stay in the barn together until it clears up. But what happens when a certain cowpony feels something...strange for the pegasus?

The day of Fluttershy and Big Macintosh's wedding has finally arrived, and Applejack couldn't be happier for her big brother and friend. Or at least, she would be happy, if a certain sky-blue pegasus didn't keep distracting her. One drinking contest and several Pinkie Pie-related incidents later, Applejack begins to realize that the friendship she has long treasured with Rainbow Dash may in fact be something more. Could she really have feelings for her best friend, or is it just the cider talking? On the way to that answer Applejack discovers truths about pride, vulnerability, and love. Dreams are funny things. They can tell us things we never knew ourselves, like who's most important to us. In other words, who we love.

Applejack has always had a secret dream, one that some ponies would find strange for the tomboyish farmer. She's always wanted somepony to treat her to a special romantic night, while being treated like a real lady. Turns out all she had to do was have a certain rainbow-maned pegasus catch her in a dress. Such an awkward moment will lead them to a night neither will ever forget.
