A one shot EqG FlutterDash story. After loosing a game, Rainbow Dash needs to escape with the help of Fluttershy which leads to the two reminiscing about the past, rekindling their strong friendship and maybe even igniting something more.

On a stormy, overcast day, a yellow pegasus sings.
She sings for her love.
She sings for her sorrow.
She sings for the one who will never know either.

But when the mare who holds her heart overhears, will she have the strength to continue?

When Rainbow Dash announces something very important to her friends, one of them reacts in a way that she never would have foreseen. Why is that, and how will it affect their friendship?

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy have been friends since they were fillies, the greatest of friends. Though Fluttershy doesn't like Dash as just a friend. After a day of flying with Rainbow Dash, the two go on a picnic. As the picnic ends Fluttershy builds up the courage, telling Dash how she truly feels.

Applejack is a simple farmer, Rarity is a complex and up-and-coming fashionista; two very different personalities and two very different lifestyles. So different that they had very little contact or interaction with one another until a certain lavender unicorn came to town and six near strangers became the best of friends.

Can Applejack and Rarity learn to get along or are they just too different? This is the story of a simple farmer and not so simple fashionista....

Applejack finally builds up her confidence and decides to confess her feelings to Rarity. However, after the white mare makes a careless remark, Applejack realizes that Rarity hates filly foolers! She knew what Applejack wanted. She'd known since she saw the look on the earth mare's face when she stared into the unicorn's eyes, weeks ago. Now she just had to make her admit it.

A new Saddle Arabian restaurant opened a couple months ago, and Rarity has been suggesting she and Applejack give it a try ever since. With Hearth's Warming just around the corner, and the restaurant just one town over, Applejack decides it would make a good early present and takes Rarity out to dinner.

Now, if she could just quit worrying about those clouds rolling in and focus on their date...
