It was no national secret.

Celestia always told her guards that nopony was to touch her mane. Ever. If terrorists broke into the castle and held her at swordpoint, they were to let her die before anypony touched her mane. If an adoring foal ever grasped for her flowing locks in the street then they were to be tackled as if they had held a knife to her throat. If she tripped at the top of the Unreasonably Long Staircase in the highest tower of the castle, broke her wings and began to slide over the edge of the stairs then they were to look on impassively as she fell rather than grasp her by her mane to save her.

Nopony was to touch Celestia's mane; it shouldn't have been a difficult command to obey. Somewhere in the depths of the Canterlot archives lay a twisted and malicious law on the subject and now, for the first time ever, she had to exercise it.

For fate had dealt her a hand worse then death, worse than damnation, worse even than Discord.

Fate chuckled, or perhaps cackled, and threw her a mane full of Pinkie Pie.

When Twilight is accused of nepotism, her friends rush to her defense! Sortof.

Twilight buys a toaster. It doesn't work very well. Unfortunately for Rainbow Dash, she happens to be in earshot—and trying to check out a Daring Do book.

Rainbow Dash begins to question her life choices.

Rainbow Dash makes the mistake of showing Twilight her Daring Do fanfic, and gets lectured about the proper use of dashes.

This is followed by the worst pun in the universe.

Rainbow Dash has never had the best imagination. Sure, from time to time she drifts off into a detailed daydream about the wonderbolts, and sometimes envisioned herself with Daring Do going on adventures, but her imagination never really went further then that. When two individuals claiming to be from a far away place come and teach her how to harness the power of imagination, Rainbow Dash never sees the world the same way again.

Crossover with Land Before Time. The Rainbow Faces were the whole reason "Stone of Cold Fire" was the best one.

This story is old. REAL old. "Two years old" old.

Rainbow Dash needs to go to the dentist to have an impacted tooth removed. Rainbow Dash hasn't been to a dentist,ever since the last one found the tooth, and tried to remove it. However, the pain is starting to become more than she can bear.

When Twilight and Applejack find out, they insist that Rainbow Dash has it removed. What happens, when Rainbow Dash refuses to go?

My first one-shot. The idea came to me on the way to have my wisdom teeth removed. I think it's a cool story idea. I've had the idea for a while now, so I decided to go through with it, and I needed a break from my other story.
