This is part 2nd to "Maybe I could". If you want to fully understand the story i suggest you read the first story, it's not to long and it would make this story better but you don't have to I give a short recap in the beginning that may help new readers understand the story. For readers that have read the first story I hope you enjoy part 2, just like before I find it better if you read all the way through. Also like before I will continue to add to the story if i get an overall positive feedback, I am still a new writer and i have used the suggestions i received from my other story for this story, feel free to comment with what you think. This story is a sequel to The Land Before Us

What the story is about

The story it's self is based on events after MLP FIM season 2, the story takes place in Equestria and on our Earth ( well an earth with no knowledge of MLP FIM ). 2nd fic person view of the college student in a normal day until Twilight's failed teleporting spell leaves her stuck in another world. At least until she finds a new kind of magic from the human world, but nothing in their lives will every be the same...

This is the first story in the "Maybe" series, think of each story as a chapter to a larger plot the description doesn't do the plot justice, because each story is a small part of the real story it's better just to read it and let the plot get thicker as you progress.

A Bioshock Big Daddy wakes from his stasis in Equestria, and subsequently adopts an unwilling Apple Bloom as his little sister. This is the short tale of the events that followed his awakening.

Lyra Heartstrings, a well renown and skilled linguist and archaeologist at ‘Celesta’s Institute for Gifted Ponies', or as it's known more commonly, ‘Canterlot University’. She has a good job, a good life. Only she is dragged into something bigger by one of her old friends, Feather Duster.

He had been ostracised not too long ago for his newfound and outlandish believes. Only his incessant requests for her help have swayed her into helping him. Only, what he brings her intrigues her. She want's to find out more.

Lyra holds the belief that history is not what's important, not who's important, it's only what we remember.

That begs the question... What could we have forgotten?

Lyra intends to find out.

After the world ends, those that are left must find a way to survive. How will they cope? Where will they live? Who is the narrator talking to if everyone is gone?

A mutant mercenary, a Dyclonius, a half demon devil hunter, and an artificially modified super soldier. With little in common they are dragged from their worlds by a mysterious being and planted in a colourful world of ponies for unknown reasons. How will this dangerous quartet take to the land of Equestria? A Marvel Universe, Elfen Lied, Devil May Cry, and Warhammer 40k crossover that may include other universes as it progresses. And three of the main characters are OCs.

X-Com stands as the first and last line of defense against any and all extraterrestrial threats. The year is 2084, and after several months of fighting multiple races of aliens from an alternate dimension, the war has reached its peak. With X-Com forces stranded in another dimension, the aliens rolled in and obliterated Humanity from existence. Now, with a spaceship, 400 souls and 80 year old weaponry, the last remnants of the Human race are out for payback.
In the process, they manage to make a few new friends, as well as a worrying number of foes...

When Twilight Sparkle decides to try a new spell she has perfected, she successfully pulls a being from another universe into Equestria. That being coincidentally is a human...that human coincidentally is you. What at first just seems like an opportunity for first contact between two species soon becomes something much more when certain truths are brought to light...and everything you knew about your life is flipped onto its head.

NOTE: At times in this story, the main character's thought process will be shown as an inner monologue with his brain. BRAIN's dialogue will appear in this color of text.
