Princess Cadence is a lonely filly who has been shielded and protected all her life as a princess and member of the dwindling race of Sacred Alicorns. She longs for a friend her age to play with, and as a young teen she is sent to stay in Canterlot where her Aunt Celestia would personally mentor her in developing her magic. There she hopes to finally have the freedom she longs for and find somepony to be her friend. Instead, she is asked to foal sit for one of her aunt's royal adviser's fillies who may just be as lonely and reclusive as she.

This is the story of how Princess Cadence learns that the ability to give love cannot be complete without finding love for yourself, and sometimes it is found when you least expect it.

Twilight Sparkle has always known her parents. Twilight Velvet and Moon Catcher. But if they aren't her true parents? Say goodbye to her current reality. Follow Twilight as she earns the crown, and meets challenges on the way.

Rated Teen for Violence in later chapters (these also explain the Dark tag.)

Twilight Sparkle is known for many things, having a level head in serious situations, losing her mind over being late on an assignment, being the owner of one of the few libraries in Ponyville, being a good friend and other things. But one thing that she isn’t known for, is being the best swordsmare in a Live Action Role Play environment that was set up by Princess Luna.

Well Pinkie Pie finds out, and after a split second misunderstanding, wants to join in.

After being banished by the Elements of Harmony, Nightmare Moon returns. She tracks down Luna, and the princess of the night must face her greatest nightmare alone.

The greatest deceit in life is the illusion that all things are true. As Luna finds out, even the most tangible of things can be just a figment lost in time.
