Applejack hunts her farm for her faithful companion, her dear friend, and pet, Winona. As she does she remembers how slow she has been for a few months and fears that a promise that the two had made long ago, may be broken on this day.

Sometimes we all need a little boost. Sometimes we need a shoulder to cry on, a friend to hug. A pony writes to his best friend hoping to do just that, hoping that one day he will look back on the problems he has overcome and say, "I did that, and I will do it again."

"A little magic practice won't hurt. After all what harm could Sweetie Belle possibly do?" That thought comes back to bite Rarity when she agrees to help Sweetie Belle practice her magic.

One slip up later and *poof* Rarity is regressed to a foal. Thankfully her mind is intact but now she's no longer the big sister.

Sweetie Belle will have to care for her "little sister" until she can find a way to turn Rarity back. All the while Rarity is certainly not going to enjoy being a foal again, especially one in the care of Sweetie Belle.

Celestia now begins to wonder about her own life and if she is still needed to be there for the younger generation and if they still need her to guide them.

Imagine Ponyville, 40 years after Twilight became a princess. Pinkie Pie is still the same random pink bundle of laughter she always was, and the others are still doing what they've always done. Pinkie, by this time, has realized she cannot continue to spread happiness and cheer like she once could as her health began to decline, so she began to build a machine. This machine would carry on Pinkie's legacy and continue to bring smiles to the faces of ponies even after her passing. Pinkie pours her very heart and soul into the design and construction of this machine. How will those feelings reflect the machine's actions? Will this machine work as she had planned?

It's been a little over a year since Luna has fully regained her power, and less than one month since the re-emergence of the Crystal Empire, when the Princess of The Night decides she wants to find her soulmate. However, when the world soon turns to chaos and her past comes into clarity, she would soon find that the world is not as it seemed.

These two mares, along with her friends, will uncover what could be the greatest conspiracy that none other than the alicorns had kept hidden from the world for so long. A secret that Celestia and Luna had kept silent about. A secret threatened to be exposed by none other than their oldest adversary.

Sequel to my other story, Of Laurels & Lace. It's required for you to read that, or you won't understand any part of the story. Plus, the prequel still requires a lot of editing, so don't expect it to be as glorious as my more recent works.
