Something has come to Equestria. Something that hasn't been seen since before Nightmare Moon's banishment. Something that is possessing the destitute and the weak. Something that may explain Luna's inability to have dreams.

It would seem an old enemy has come out to play, and Luna can't take him on herself. She'll need to find friends if she is to beat it back.

All that is for certain is that she must again enter the world of dreams... and face her nightmares.

The humans at the restaurant Freddy Fazbear's are getting tired of having to replace the night guard every week, and go to Canterlot to ask for Princess Luna's help. She agrees to help, but the animatronics aren't expecting a blue alicorn princess to replace last week's guard. Needless to say, they are caught off guard.

Not long after Tirek's defeat, Twilight has begun suffering from a medical condition that shouldn't be able to affect ponies and her life depends on Luna. How will both of their lives, and their relationship, be affected during the days and nights together as Twilight searches for a way to reclaim her independence?
