This story is a sequel to The Rainbow's Surprise

On the day of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash's wedding, Princess Celestia left Twilight a message saying that she should prepare herself if something happens. The next morning, Twilight awakens to find that all of Ponyville has succumb to a blinding fog. She must now travel a monster-filled town in search for her teacher and friends and try to return Ponyville back to the way it was.

Equestria is a nation on the edge of disaster after the devastation caused by the Lunar Rebellion. Beset on all sides by nefarious enemies, vicious foreign invaders, insane Lunar cultists, malicious fey, and diabolical conspirators all threaten Equestria’s borders and stability. Midnight Sparkle, daughter of Archmagus Sunbeam Sparkle and herself a newly minted Magus of Equestria, soon finds herself embroiled in the chaos surrounding her homeland. But what hope does a single unicorn have against so many overwhelming threats?

A chronological sequel to The Lunar Rebellion.

Princess Cadance's life is fraught with intrigue, chaos, and diplomacy. She has been trained for it—educated, prepared, and hardened by her Aunt Celestia. However, all the training in the world couldn't prepare her for real life. Things only become crazier with the return of her formerly exiled and insane Aunt Luna, and she finds herself responsible for her newfound aunt amid the mysteries in the seaside town of Queensmouth.

A standalone Winningverse story.

After seeing Luna at the Nightmare Night festival in Ponyville, one pony's dreams become haunted by nightmares of her banishment. His efforts to overcome these nightmares, and the overzealous help of a young dragon, cause him to be summoned before the two celestial sisters. From them, he learns that Luna's stay on the moon was not a punishment, but a sacrifice to protect all of Equestria.

The triumphal return to Ponyville of Twilight Sparkle and her new friends with the royal sisters starts "a long road home" for Princess Luna, and nothing will ever be the same for the kingdom of Equestria!

There were always two rulers of Equestria until Luna; the younger princess, was banished to the moon. The story was that she had become Nightmare Moon, but as it turns out; it was a lie. Princess Celestia makes the biggest sacrifice anypony could when she discovers a detail she had missed. Everything is revealed.

Note: This doesn't follow up to the first episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I also wrote this on my spare time, so expect wasted potential and a low quality story.
