Princess Celestia has met many individuals whom she could call friends during her life. But given the fact she does not age like they do, she cannot bring herself to be there when they pass on. Still grieving after being forced to banish her own sister to the moon, she cannot face the prospect of losing those close to her.

Anthony, however, is the last human in Equestria; he is also the next to go. Now Celestia is determined to face her fears so she can be with him at the end.

My name is Celestia. I am the ruler of the country known as Equestria. I raise the sun every morning, and my sister guides the moon across the sky at night. My student is now a Princess as well, something that I am so very proud of.

But not everything is fine.

I have been able to hide it from my sister, my student, her friends and every pony that comes to me during court.

My name is Celestia.

And I'm falling apart.

A/N: Super-short story I just put together because I wanted to. Everything was done in less than 60 minutes, so it might be a little spotty.

When Princess Celestia makes an unthinkable choice to continue on as the ruler of her people, she is forced to confront the most painful question she has ever asked herself: What will her most faithful student think of the monster she has become?

Princess Twilight Sparkle has become the new ruler of Equestria. Just as you're getting ready to finally settle down with Celestia, she disappears. You made a vow to protect her, but what will you do when, faced with the kidnapper, the world looks the other way? Does Celestia even want to be saved?

The climax of the Royal-Tea series.

When Pinkie reunites with Sombra in Canterlot after going on a mission for the princesses, she's surprisingly distant with him. Not sure what to make of her behavior, Sombra tries to figure out the reason behind her actions.

It isn't until a discussion with her friends does he realize why she was so upset.

This is supposed to correlate with the "Reflections" arc in the MLP comics, taking place comics 17-20. This was written after 18's release and is correct with the information up to 19, which has not been released as of now.

Princess Celestia wakes up in a ruin of the Canterlot Palace during a downpour that never seems to end. Finding that Canterlot has met the same fate, she wanders, unable to escape.

Princess Celestia is the Princess of Equestria, and has brought peace to the Renaissance-era country, but what almost nobody knows is that she has a sister.
Luna finds her way back to Equestria after the passing of her caretaker and honors her father's dying words, to make a name for herself. She never expected to meet such amazing individuals in a place like Ponyville, especially the town's 'celebrity noble'

An eternity is a far too long to keep a secret.

When Princess Celestia is warned of a threat to Equestria, one with the potential to tear the world apart, and ultimately steal her own sister from her, she vows to devote her life to finding a way to avert this disaster and save all those she loves from their fate.

Deep down, however, she knows that she can never truly achieve this, and that protecting her sister completely would require sacrificing everything else.

The Codex, compiled by Celestia herself, is the only full account of the events, spread over millennia, which led to her greatest loss, and her efforts to redeem her sister and restore the world to its natural balance.
