My pride has been killing me ever since I started down this path, and I have helped it along all the way. With every decision I've made, with every boast I've shouted, with every crime I've committed, it's strangled me more and more, it's cut out the foal my parents once knew and the mare that I could have been. Maybe, if things had gone differently, I could have been useful with my life, I could have helped somepony. Maybe I could have been truly great.

Now, though, it's too late. I can't take back any of the decisions I've made, I can't rewind time and warn myself of how I was destined to fail, of how I was poisoning my mind with fruitless hopes and vain reasoning. All I have left is this paper on which I can jot down my final thoughts, this pen with which I can make a record of my sins. As pitiful as it is, this is all I can do to redeem myself. 19/3/14 - Oooh! I see myself on the popular stories list! It may not be very high up, but yay! EDIT: Eeek! It made third place! Oh my gosh! You guys! It made first place on the Popular Stories list. Not sure that will last long, but hooray! Yes, I know it has no real significance!

20/3/14 - Oh my goodness! I feel like I'm accepting an Oscar or something. It was such a wonderful surprise to log on and see people congratulating me on getting featured, even if I did miss its time in the spotlight. This is an honour I never thought I'd have the privilege to accept.

Twilight is known for her mind all over Equestria. Her friends, family, even royalty rely on her. But most of all she is a friend. It all began during a terrible storm. Two mares with an awkward and bitter past end up forced to share each others company. A kindness offered and a kindness reciprocated. And before either one knew what was happening they were both tumbling head over hooves. But into what? Friendship? Or something more.

It has been about 7 months since The Great and Powerful Trixie took over Ponyville using the dark power of the Alicorn Amulet. Since then, Trixie has been trying to turn over a new leaf performing at a bar in Fillydelphia. Even though most of her fans have now ostracized her, she at least has a new place to stay, and some food to eat. Trixie wished her life would turn around for the better, but she just did not know how to go about it. After a twist of fate occurred by rescuing the princess of the night from the forest near her home, Trixie figured it was the perfect opportunity to seek what her power truly was, and how she can be just as useful as Princess Twilight Sparkle was for all of Equestria. This resolve to find out who she truly is will take Trixie on an adventure that she will never forget. Through the rigors of training, to finding a couple of lost magical artifacts, Trixie will have to endure the hardship of dealing with her past, and the struggles she faces internally when it comes to her ego and her bad habits which drive her potential friends away. Will she finally be able to prove not only to herself, but also to the rest of Equestria that she is truly the highest level unicorn? Bring along your adventure map, your laughs, and a few feels for this Great and Powerful ride you will not forget!

Twilight has learned a lot of things over the course of her life. From her books, her mentor, her friends and even from ponies she'd rather not spend a great deal of time around. One of those things she learned was that friendship isn't something that's as readily defined as other things in the world. After solving the crisis of Trixie being possessed by the Alicorn Amulet she sets out to meet with the fellow unicorn once again.

However she has no intention of engaging her in another duel. She's going after her to help.
