In all seriousness though, Trixie's mother is by definition the polar opposite of my mother. It would take allot, and I mean ALLOT for my mother to have punished me, whereas if Trixie so much as breathed wrong, she could end up with a broken nose. My mother's version of a spanking is no more than a light tap, whereas Trixie's mother's version of a light tap is a smack that would make Trixie unable to sit for a week. My mother's version of a grounding was a day or two unable to leave the yard, whereas Trixie getting grounded would probably be getting locked in her room for a month...and that would be a light grounding. If I said anything hateful about my mother (not that I ever would), she'd just be proud that I had the courage to speak my mind, whereas if Trixie so much as pointed out a gray hair, she'd get her jaw broken.
If Trixie were in art class and asked to draw a picture of the devil, she'd probably draw her mother...and her sisters.
Considering how this story is going so far, when am I to expect Trixie to get a set of glass horseshoes?
