An alternate take on the ending of Episode 24: Owl's Well that Ends Well

Driven away from home by jealousy and loneliness, Spike finds himself in the cave of a rather large dragon. However, instead of attacking, the great beast takes him under his wing, teaching him to become a proper, vicious dragon, filling the emptiness left by his friends with rage. But, when Spike's small size and immaturity take him to the brink of frustration, the magical alternative his new "friend" proposes could change the course of his life forever.

"My name is Lyra Heartstrings, and you will not remember me. You won't even remember this conversation. Just like with everypony else I've ever met, everything I do or say will be forgotten. Every letter I've written will appear blank; every piece of evidence I've left behind will end up missing. I'm stuck here in Ponyville because of the same curse that has made me so forgettable. Still, that doesn't stop me from doing the one thing that I love: making music. If my melodies find their way into your heart, then there is still hope for me. Private Jeremy Hawkens sends letters back to Celestia; some involving updates on the war, some involving personal letters to his family and others for Celestia's study.

When Discord escapes again, he decides to take greater measures to defeating those loyal to harmony. The princesses face an army and Equestria is soon thrust into a state of war. Other enemies emerge and the princesses are left with many hard decisions if they want to save Equestria from sure destruction.

What could have happened if Nightmare Moon had won over Twilight Sparkle and her friends? The tome Princess Celestia gives Twilight explains what she saw while using a spell. It shows a new threat to Equestria, as well, and Princess Celestia said this story has no happy ending.

Story Two of the Haven Trilogy, a partial sequel to Solar Flare concerning the second tome Twilight Sparkle received. I don't feel this is close to the best I could do, considering that when this was written, I was suffering from an immense case of Writer's Block.

Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.

However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

A mare by the name of Silver Skyline finds herself in the shadow of the monster who killed her parents, she must do everything she can to evade Discord's grasp or she will surely share their fate.

Princess Celestia gives Twilight a quest, but this is different than the other missions the group has gone in. Twilight, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash visit a world they didn't even know still existed, and it's not as exciting as they'd hoped. They need to find a way out, quick, before something keeps them there forever.
