This story is a sequel to In the Silence of the Night

Two princesses went into a forest at night with grief, and they came out with love. Eternal love. For years, they will try to keep their relationship away from Equestria - only telling their trusted friends and family. But with time, they know that a lot of those wonderful ponies will have died. Only few will remain, but that won't stop Luna from helping Twilight through the pain. And it for sure will never halt their love.

Luna has had a hard life but things are finally looking up for her. She has a happy life, she has made new friends, and she even has a crush. She finally started to relax. But will she be able to relax for long or will the magic of this world get to her? Or even worse will her past come back to hurt her?

Twilight loved Flash Sentry with all her heart. But now, several decades later, he's dead. Though her friends and brother still continue to live in their old age, her life has not been without heavy losses. However, this one hit her harder than the others. With so many ponies she cares about being so close to the end, she feels lost.

But there are still ponies that understand exactly how she's feeling. Luna tracks Twilight down to a small pond, where she is isolating herself from the rest of Equestria. What follows is a gentle heart-to-heart between two immortals that now feel alone in the world.

Princess Celestia ascended Twilight into an alicorn without giving her any notice, then she left her to return to Canterlot to make preparations for the newborn alicorn's coronation, leaving Twilight's mind reeling from the sudden change of species and what it means.

Twilight can't sleep because her over-analytical mind is plagued with fear, uncertainty, and doubt. But maybe a visitor can help ease her worries and comfort her enough for her to fall asleep.

Princess Luna has always been more at home on the battlefield than in a palace. The reasons for that were left mostly unexamined, for things are what they are, so why try to fight fate? Fish do not fly, birds do not swim, and the princess of the moon cannot be anything other than what she is. But when a dream reveals that in this modern age the impossible can become reality, she begins to examine who she is in an all new light.

A story about identity, discovery, and love.

This is technically set in the same world as Over a Cardboard Sea, but the two stories are only vaguely related and you do not have to read one in order to appreciate the other. It also takes place in the same world as Either Or and shares some themes with it.

In a world now free of its past struggles, Luna is left to contemplate her place within modern Equestria. Though her mind is clouded by doubt, perhaps the light of her stars can show her the path to a brighter future.

It's not easy to go back to your life after a thousand years of insanity and exile. It's not easy for Luna to even leave her room. All the same, there's a special somepony that Luna desperately wants to get closer to, and that's worth facing the outside for. All she has to do is get up the nerve to talk to her.

After an argument with Twilight, Luna is out of sorts. Smasher, a clumsy colt with a penchant for breaking valuables, isn’t having the best day either.

After a long day's dusty work in the old castle, a trip to an old, secluded pool to wash off seems like a great idea. Only then does disaster choose to strike, spurring Luna into action to save Twilight from mortal danger, thrusting untold emotions into the daylight in a blur of fear and panic.

Staying up until midnight to wait on a beautiful mare never felt so right.

On another beautiful winter night, lovingly crafted by her girlfriend, Twilight awaits her with bated breath and takes the time to appreciate Luna's work. Midnight was always her hour, and winter always her season.

She might pine for her home in Ponyville, but her heart belongs to the Princess of the Night.
