In the latest hours of night ponies begin to mysteriously disappear from Ponyville leaving very little evidence towards why. As the ponies investigate these disappearances closer they come to a astonishing discovery, that reveals a secret and hidden danger that jeopardizes the lives of everypony in Ponyville...

While visiting "Seneighca", a settlement isolated for centuries within the deep forests of the northeast and only recently discovered by Equestrians, Luna finds herself swept up in a dire situation. Instead of playing politics, she finds herself face to face with a foul beast that threatens the lives of her new friends, but that is not all what troubles her.

After returning to Canterlot, grim occurrences seem to follow the princess wherever she goes and ponies begin accusing her as the culprit. She does her best to investigate what is happening with the help of Twilight Sparkle, but one night she stumbles upon something that changes everything.

The story takes places sometime between Season 4 and Season 5.

Fluttershy meets a strange creature while running an errand in the Everfree Forest. It is nothing like she has ever seen, and it may be more than it seems.

Sunset wouldn't say she's been lying to her friends. She wouldn't say she's been hiding anything from them. She just hasn't been ready to tell them about her depression. It has never felt like the right time. Or place. She doesn't have the right words. The right tone.

But she doesn't want to keep facing this alone. So she tells the one person, or pony rather, she is ready to: Princess Twilight Sparkle.

It has been a few days since the Fall Formal. Sunset is the construction crew's gopher, she still eats lunch alone, and she's feeling worse than ever. At the very least, she can feel proud of not having been a total she-demon since the dance. In fact, other than being lonely, she's been a model student.

So why in the name of Celestia is she being called to the principal's office?

I've been feeling empty lately. Not sad, not happy, just... empty. I fake a smile around the girls. I don't know if they notice.

There is something that ends the emptiness. I don't like it, but I'd rather feel pain than nothing. So long as the girls don't notice. I don't need that kind of attention, or worry.

It has been a few weeks since the fall formal. The school has been repaired, Sunset has been, begrudgingly at least, accepted back into the student body, and she even has a few friends.

They all have so much energy to them. They laugh, they tease, the fight and make up. Sunset can't do that. Not yet. It takes too much energy, energy she doesn't have. Being around them is great. They've been so kind to her. They stand by her. Sunset only wishes she had the energy to do the same for them.

In honor of Nightmare Night, Twilight Sparkle invites Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash over to Ponyville Library for a sleepover. They end up telling scary stories around the fireplace, which is loads of fun; that is, until somepony’s story ends up being a little too scary.

From Zootopia, Batman V. Superman and Ghostbusters, to Nine Lives, Deadpool and The Angry Birds Movie, 2016 had a lot of movies that came out that made audiences split. So, for some particular reason, the Cutie Mark Crusaders decide to talk about the movies they saw.

Why? Because it's better than writing a blog post about it!

Just an idea that came to my mind when looking back at the movies I watch in 2016. (Yes, I saw every film you've about to read, and these are mostly my own opinions) Keep in mind I didn't see every film from 2016, so if you're favourite film didn't show up, you now know why.
