I am the Goddess of the Night, Heir of the Moon. I bring the night, the stars, the moon. I was banished to my moon for a thousand years, or so they think. I am the younger sister to Celestia, but this is not truth either. I am known as Princess Luna, but I am so much more. I am the Creator of Equestria, of Earth. But none know, none may know, not even my "sister". This is my story.

This is the story of the end. This is the story of the death of Equestria. It is the story of the reign of her royal majesty, Princess Twilight Sparkle of the Fading Sun.

The alicorn sisters are dead and Equestria has turned to Twilight Sparkle to guide it. However, just maintaining a dim sun a fraction as bright as her mentor's keeps the new princess near her limits.

Years have passed and Twilight Sparkle is sure of only one thing. Equestria is dying.

NOTE: Written before "It's about Time" in season 2. Everything after "Read it and Weep" was ignored throughout this story.

Many years after sending her beloved protege to Ponyville, unease sits heavily on Princess Celestia's heart as her relationship with Twilight Sparkle seems to have cooled despite all they've accomplished together. It started off as a completely normal morning for the mane 6, until they woke up. All six awake to find their opposite gender counterparts from a different universes in their beds. No-one knows how they arrived. Now with their opposite sex selves, they must discover why they are there and, if possible, how to send them home. Unfortunately there are many alternate universes in existence, some not very nice, some that have beings who would wish to enter the mane six's world and bring harm upon it.

This is a remake of my terrible fic "Limitations of Love" but without the villain sue Smiley. I would also like to say that I am in no way trying to rip off Connor Cogwork's "On a Cross and Arrow".
