Segment for 'Mortality'
It has been more than five-hundred years since Nightmare Moon's return -- Princess Luna's rehabilitation. Not long after, Twilight was transformed into an Alicorn and crowned as Princess Twilight Sparkle. With the several years that have passed, and with the loss of her best friends, Twilight stays in remembrance of them; keeping them ever so close to her heart.

A long time ago, even before Equestria was founded, there lived 2 living beings. One was an Alicorn, the other a Changeling. The first one was living the good life in the Palace of Creation and this together with her sisters, brother and her mother, the Almighty Fausticorn. But she was unhappy. Why you ask? Well, we can't spoil the story, now can we?

The Changeling was not so fortunate. After running away from her father's hive with 20 Changelings, she was now trying to survive. She needed love to survive, but most importantly, she needed a friend to be there for her.

Fate had some plans for them.

(They are foals.)

This story is written in the Team Awesome universe of Bonaxor and the story is based on a comic. In the comic they are foals, so they are also foals in my story. There are a few rules, which the creator of the comic told me to follow, and which I cannot break.

1. Ponies are afraid of Alicorns. They see them as monsters that can destroy the world.
2. Team Awesome never goes into town without a special disguise. It makes them look like other normal ponies.. just.. bigger.
- Celestia is a Unicorn in her disguise
- Luna is an Earth pony
- Dream (Nightmare Moon) is a Pegasus
- Discord a dragon
- Cadance is a pegasus

That are the two giant rules.

This will probably be a feel good story.

The festival of siblings has arrived! Princess Celestia has invited Twilight and her friends to join in the celebrations, and with Rarity sick, theres only one other friend who can celebrate; Applejack. While enjoying the party in Canterlot castle and the girls go off for food, Big Macintosh is left to speak with a tall and proud captain of the guard. Join in their convocation of how much their little sisters mean to them as Shining Armour and Big Mac meet for the first time!

Balance. That is what will protect Equestria from the looming threat of the Nothingness that consumed the High Elements generations ago. Celestia and Luna have found all but one, yet still things aren’t as easy as they’d like. Discord seems to have an idea about where to find the final element, and has been set loose in the hopes that he truly is reformed. Princess Luna heads north, planning, with Cadance and Shining Armor at her side, to conquer Loneliness. And Twilight Sparkle, still green in her royal duties, has been left behind by her friends as they attempt to make their dreams come true. But when a summons demands that the Elements of Harmony unite once more, she’ll have to retrieve the other five in the hopes that their friendships are still as strong as before.

Princess Twilight Sparkle travels to the Crystal Empire to visit her brother, Cadance, and their new foals, Il Bolero di Fuoco (better known as Bolero), and Gleaming Shield. When her train ends up derailed due to the snowstorm, she ends up somehow trapped in an ice cave, in a raging blizzard, with none other than Flash Sentry. Can these two star-and-dimension-crossed lovebirds thaw out the chilly Frozen North with their love, or are they doomed to freeze to death wandering aimlessly through the snow and hail? When Shining Armour finds out his sister's going out with a royal guard, can he accept it for the love that it is? Or will he totally flip a table?

The song "Vanilla Twilight" belongs to Owl City.

BEFORE ANYPONY ASKS, YES, "IL BOLERO DI FUOCO" MEANS "THE BOLERO OF FIRE" IN ITALIAN. I LIKE TO PLAY ZELDA GAMES, SHUT UP, GO AWAY, IT'S A BADASS NAME FOR A PONY.

Princess Twilight Sparkle's work days are hard. She never comes to see her friends anymore. The only thing to cheer her up is Flash Sentry, the new, handsome guard. But when he suddenly disappeared, Twilight had no choice...

In all honesty, Twilight Sparkle never had much plans for romance. Sure, she occasionally dreamed about finding that one special somepony, but she never had the chance nor the motivation to actively seek him. I mean, all good things come to those who wait, right?

However, when ‘that one special somepony’ is forcibly shoved right in Twilight’s face, it becomes a whole different ball game.

Before leaving on a two-year tour of duty in Zebrabwe, Flash Sentry pens a letter to Twilight Sparkle, telling her of his failure.
