So, I just approved the 5000th story on the site. I think that's quite the milestone. The site has been going for nigh on 9 months now, so that averages out at about 18 new stories every single day, though in reality nowadays there's over 50 new stories every day currently. Growth on the site in all aspects has only been exponential since I began.

This is a pretty up to date graph of views on the site. As you can see, we're currently on about 22,000 unique people visiting the site, contributing to about 300,000 page views every day. In total we've had over 22,000,000 page views.

I've had a lot of fun overall in running the site. And I've learnt a lot too. I'm always looking to improve the site, and lately I've tried to lot a lot of new stuff to help communities form and for people to find new stuff more easily with notifications and, as of today, the dashboard.

Wow, it`s great to see so many aspiring writers on one site all writing on the same (broad) subject, It`s quite astonishing really the amount of good passionate things you can find on here.
I have said it before and I`ll say it again. This fandom is bloody epic! I sincerely hope it continues like this for quite a while. I wonder how long it will take to reach 10k? At this rate I don`t think we will need to wait a long time.

I don't think it'll take much longer to reach 10k fics with the user-base this site has now, and everpony else who'll join in the future.

I love the new Dashboard page, it should help out a lot with having waaaaay too many read and unread stories tracked like I do.
Any chance of a new section of the Dashboard (or maybe just a entirely new page) containing the latest blog entries from the authors you are following?

I've seen a great influx of stories lately. Many authors that have been uploading Google Docs, fanfiction.net or DA decided to also upload their works here, which is really great!
It makes tracking all your favorite stories a lot easier, and this site is dedicated, sleek and very nice.
When I clicked a link to a fic on ED, it used to be mainly Google Docs. Now it's mostly fimfiction

I am grateful for FimFiction; not only is it a friendly place to write with a convenient interface and user experience (arguably the best), but it is really becoming THE place to write. Magnificent work, Knighty.

Congrabulations! FIMFiction is a great archive for a great fandom. It's really setting a new standard for features and functionality for fanfiction archives; compare fimf with ff.net and it's not even close.
Never wrote ever before i became a Brony. And now I've got two well-received stories up. One of them got Featured. FEATURED! How does somebody with no prior writing experience do that? I'll tell you how.

I haven't been with the site for long, but I find it both awesome and sad that the site is growing so much. I just hope the writer:reader ratio stays how awesome it is, lol. So many readers compared to writers, all storied will get at LEAST 50 views on there first day it seems. On DeviantART, an aspiring writer gets that much in a month or two. So here's to the awesome writer:reader ratio!

An amazing milestone indeed. I joined in early December, and I'm currently writing my first story ever. It's gotten an amazing number of views on comments in my opinion, and I'm so glad to have found so many Bronies in one place. This fandom is wonderful. Almost everypony you talk to on here has a great attitude about things and I think that's just awesome. I also really like the new group feature you added. The only things I'd like to see are a 'friend' option, and maybe a combined story feature where two or more people could work on the same story, because a couple of my friends and I have had an idea for something like that for a while now. Thanks again for this amazing site, and keep up your breathtaking work.
