Site Update » Some minor and MASSIVE changes · 3:41am Oct 28th, 2014
We've just made some really massive backend changes on the site. As usual with these things, there is a good chance something no longer works. If that's the case, this is the post to report them in.
You'll also notice some fancy new dropdowns for notifications/PMs, and comment pagination that's much more robust and basically works a million times better than it ever did.
Edit: Chapter publishing and comment liking should be fixed. So should adding items to public bookshelves (curse me only testing private ones..)

EDIT: Apart from the slightly-borked dropdown menu for emoticons (which is no huge loss, honestly), the comment like/dislike system seems to have broken as well. Nothing else seems wrong on my end; I'm quite liking the slickness of the new appearance. The pop-ups for notifications and PMs work great.
EDIT 2: More of sidenote observation, but wow, the Feature Box has animation to it now. Neat.
YES!! The drop down works splendidly on my iPhone. Love it!
2559714 Yeah, I thought that was only me. It's kind of hard to browse emoticons when we can't see the emoticons... unless you were planning on replacing those. (You weren't, were you?)
The emoji aren't working very well.
Oh yes. I love this! It even looks good on mobile as well.

The emoticon dropdown is currently blank, but the emoticons can still be selected.
I'm liking the spoiler tag button, but I'm not sure why you used the icon usually used for sound.

The BBCode button for image linking in PMs closes the PM window.
Facing the following error when I try to add something to a bookshelf.
And the emotes are broken in the comment-writer-thing-box. They don't show up in the dropdown menu.
Looks pretty cool, sir. Now I just need to figure out how to get my banner back on my user page. It seems to have disappeared and replaced itself with an ad.

I couldn't add a story to my read it later or tracking list...
I'm not sure if you planned this, but it looks like naming comment modules on userpages are disabled, but you still have the option to name them while editing the page. Titles just won't appear.

Emotes aren't loading in the little window thingie.
Only issue is that the images aren't loading in the emoticon drop-down. Mistyped file path or something?
Other than that, I cannot stand the love that I have for these changes.
Any chance you could include a way for those of us who browse from mobile to see what's under a spoiler tag without having to copy-paste it somewhere?
I can't seem to publish a chapter to a fic I have yet to submit, meaning I can't submit it because it needs to have at least 1,000 words.

Apart from the emotes issue, comment anchoring isn't working. Most important bug fix you need to make is that.

Hey Knighty, great job on the mobile design! You have no idea how upsetting it was not being able to see the Featured stories on the go.
The new comment sections look nice.
Observations:
1. Up/down votes on comments don't seam to work.2. Images for the Emotes drop-down are broken.3. Some images are broken.4. Attempting to change up/down vote returns an error.Cool updates! Just two things to note:
1. Emotes are showing up as broken images in the dropdowns
2. I know you don't officially support these, but just noting that it looks like the Emote extender add-ons are busted now.
Oh, and the "Insert YouTube Video" thing isn't working either.

I feel like this is the perfect embodiment of every comment made whenever the site updates.
I honestly miss the purple in blogs and profile areas.

Eh.... major problem for me... my userpage was filled with images... all fan art from other users and artists... but right after this update hit about 50-60% of the images are broken and don't show... god why...? it's gonna take me a year to fix all that if this is permenant >_________________________________<
