It's October, and you all know what that means...
We've actually got a pretty spooky-low turnout this month in terms of group ads, actually. Way lower than I expected. If you've got a group you want to draw some attention to, please let me know! All I need is a link to the group and a short, 100-200ish word summary of what the group does and why people should check it out. Even if you've already advertised in one of these, if you take the time to request a spot every month I'll give you a spot every month.

This group was created to help those who are interested in running or joining a panel for BABScon 2015. We would like everyone to come to this convention in the beautiful Northern California bay area April 3rd-5th, 2015.

This group is designed to help work with OC's. It be Alicorn's, Buffalo, Griffon's, or Centuars, we will work with you and try to help make your OC more believable and less Mary Sue/Gary Stu.
If you have an OC that is getting a bad rep, bring them here and we'll get to work on helping.

The MLP Fan Club!!!!
Everypony there is friends with everypony else and we read a lot of each other's fanfiction. Nopony is left out, and no story is shunned away. Ponies should join if they adore ponies, getting their fics read and appreciated, and making friends!
The MLP Fan Club is a place for all fics, a place to be a humble fan, a place to make friends, and a place to participate in contests. As the founder, I started this group because I really wanted a place for all my friends and their friends to go for some good reading and a spot for fangirling/fanboy-ing over our beloved ponies!

2505837 This is all I actually got ads for, yeah. I had at least two people ask me to write a "review," but when I clarified that I just post what they give me, I never got a reply back. So they obviously don't appear here in the post.
Still, 8 groups seems on the low side. Anybody's guess why that happened.

2506007 I don't think the number of groups that apply to be advertised in my stupid monthly posts really serves as a good indicator of overall site wellness. Last time, I didn't end up posting the thing until a week into September, and like four different groups approached me in that week. I think actually posting on the day I initially planned for this month might be more to blame than anything else.

A less obnoxious way to word that question would be, "What does Spike do when he isn't off on adventures with the others?"
Part of the reason the show kills my good spirit instead of restoring it is that Spike missing out is the norm, rather than the exception.
On the article, is there a group that features top-ranking Dark/Horror/Halloween-themed fanfiction? That would be something to bring out attention to.
