One day, Scootaloo finds one of the crystals that make ponies into shades of their former selves and through its infection becomes one of those abominations. Now she has to find what her crystal seeks and train to fight for her life. She will meet many friends and enemies and she'll realize that the world she knows is not the kind place she believed it was.
