With the local human having ceased wandering and causing ruckus he attempts - with Twilight's ever-patient assistance - to calm down, make it up to those that he needs to make it up to and generally live his best his life.

His greatest obstacle in this, as with most things post-arrival, is his towering neurosis.

And maybe the uncomfortable fact that he can't stop growing larger and more resilient with each passing day. And that not being belligerent to the wildlife gives him sufficient time to fully contemplate the breadth of his situation as a lone and isolated example of his kind in a world entirely not his own, try as he might to just ignore it and stop his brain from eating itself with irritating doubts and fears.

Other than that he's having a whale of a time.

Twilight, visiting her human of choice, makes a suggestion for what they should do that particular evening. It's not unreasonable, but it is unexpected.

Still, worse things have happened.

Twilight - with one thing leading to another - has rather talked herself into a corner with her Canterlot friends, and now requires Anon's help in straightening it out maybe.

It's all very awkward, if she's being honest, but he's a happy-go-lucky-chap and what's the worst that can happen, really?

Starlight is out for a walk, and while out for a walk comes across the local human, who had recently gone missing. He's picked up at least one bad habit.

Humans often pass through Equestria on their way to worlds unknown, maintaining cordial relations with the locals. One has chosen to live in Ponyville. Lyra worries about him when he's not there, and is happy when he comes back.

This particular human rather likes it in Ponyville. Indeed, he rather likes being away from Earth in general. Though he doesn't like to talk about it.

Anon doesn't like Rarity, he just thinks about her a lot, is all. And that's only because he's worried he won't be able to repay her generosity at this festive time of year on account of his rather dire financial straits.

Following a pep talk - and a volley of snowballs - he decides to take a punt on making a meal for her.

Because why not?

A human, having suffered due to the mysterious means of his transmission from one world to another, is stuck in bed recovering from his injures. While a little alarmed to find that the one looking after him is not human herself, he can't do much about it.

It helps that - as he finds - she's also rather good company.

Much to her surprise, Twilight receives an invitation to the Dragon Lands.

As it turns out, she is brought there under false pretences. A monster has moved in recently, and despite the best efforts of the locals they haven't been able to shift it. Could Twilight, being as how she has monster experience, have a look?
