Forget not that I am a derp.

Even years after Twilight took the throne, there's plenty of excitement in Ponyville. The question isn't whether something interesting will happen, but how ridiculous it will be.

Going by how Snips and Snails are at the epicenter of this one, Apple Bloom's bumping up her initial estimate.

Most ponies seem to love like the sun, a single spot of intense, blazing passion. Starlight Glimmer is different. Her love feels like planets in the night sky. So many scattered lights, so far out of reach, and so hard to tell from the fixed stars.

Fortunately, she has a teacher who's very good at astronomy.

An entry in Bicyclette's Polyship Contest, written at the last minute because that's when the idea came to me. Rated Teen for frank discussion of physical attraction and a brief mention of suicidal ideation. Takes place immediately after "Uncommon Bond" (S7E24, the one with Starlight's favorite board game.)

Now with a reading by The Mystery Fluttershy Fan.

Sunset Shimmer hates the magicless world of mutant apes she's been trapped in for the last four moons, but at least she's making some progress on improving her situation. Now if only the short-sighted fools surrounding her would stop getting in her way, she could show them. She'd show them all!

Note that this particular Sunset has yet to encounter the concept of the "mad scientist." Not until later today, anyway.

An entry in the Science Fiction Contest II and the Spring Fling. Thanks to EileenSaysHi for the original idea (which, full disclosure, was proposed in January, before the Spring Fling was announced.) Rated Teen for the occasional discussion topic that goes outside the scope of TV-Y.

As certain ponies from another world can attest, there’s nothing quite like facing down a dark-winged madwoman’s fell magics to bring a group together. Of course, it wasn’t quite so cut and dry for the Crystal Prep Friendship Games team, not least because their Twilight Sparkle both was said madwoman and left them for greener pastures.

None of them can honestly blame her. Even putting aside all of Twilight’s bad memories at Crystal Prep and the better ones she made during the Games, there’s one argument that might sway even the most die-hard Shadowbolt: Canterlot High has more hotties in its student body than any of them can shake a stick at.

Especially the one who just walked into the diner where they’re having lunch.

So, ladies. Who has first dibs?

Rated T for teenagers being teenagers. Credit to Moproblems Moharmoney for several of the girls' stances on the matter.

Flash Sentry is a member of the Royal Guard whose remarkable rise got knocked off-kilter when he bumped into the captain's little sister.

Flash Sentry is a teenage human with an unfortunate habit of walking into attractive girls.

Flash Sentry is a hero.

Flash Sentry is a rock star.

Flash Sentry is an angel.

Flash Sentry is many things. The problems come when trying to reconcile them. And when he keeps showing up to interrupt one's train of thought.

Winner of Bicyclette's Flash Sentry contest, and a part of the Oversaturated World with (hopefully) no background information required beyond what this story provides.

Rated Teen for some uncouth moments and Crossover for a brief dalliance with Kill Six Billion Demons. Again, no familiarity required.

A chill in the air. Snow on the ground. A glow of tenderness and togetherness in ponies’ hearts. All signs of the season.

Trixie reading everything she can get her hooves on? That seems more like a sign of the apocalypse.

Written for AndwhatIseeisme for Jinglemas 2022.

In the land of Siderea, there are the modern science of magecraft and the ancient art of the old magic. Summoning falls under the latter. Anyone can perform the ritual to call forth a nature spirit, but the trick lies in the offering used to draw their attention. Arcane scholars agree it should be something incredibly rare and/or valuable. Gold, jewels, exotic spices and unguents...

Applejack has a jug of cider, and she hopes figures any djinni with working taste buds will be more than happy with it.

Humanized Equestria AU. An entry in Choices: A Species Change Contest. Thanks to EileenSaysHi, Krack-Fic Kai, Mishkiel, and Mockingbirb for prereading. Rated Teen for some of the reasons behind the Romance tag.

When ponies say they'll do anything to achieve some goal, they rarely mean it. Morals, ethics, common sense, physical limitations, something will stand between them and true, full commitment to fulfilling the task ahead of them.

A mare raised from foalhood by Equestria's last true alicorn is not so limited. Even methods that alicorn hesitates to use are fair game as far as she's concerned.

Misty is about to make her mentor either very proud or very angry. Possibly both.

A belated G5 Halloween tale written when inspiration struck.

Peace, love, and understanding are paradoxically precious things. The more they're needed, the harder they are to come by. And they are very much needed as Chrysalis's war swarms sweep Equestria, seeking out any lingering pockets of resistance after their queen's victory at the Princess of Food's wedding.

Meanwhile, Tree Hugger is still a few minutes away from fully processing that there's a problem.

A refined version of the second place entry in Everfree Northwest 2022's Iron Author contest. Prompt: Write a story with a guru, a guerilla, and a gaffe. Rated Teen for grim atmosphere typical of a Glimmer splinter and violence beyond what was implied.

For most people, BitHub is just a version-control service, used to share and track changes in code.

For this and many other reasons, Twilight Sparkle is not most people.

A highly experimental entry and second place co-winner in Bicyclette's Twilight Files contest. Rated Teen for implications that would not get past Discovery Family S&P.
