Stitch - adcoon

On a school trip to a quaint little town, Sweetie Belle becomes entangled in the past. She soon learns that some stories infect everything they touch, like a virulent plague, creating sad, twisted clones of themselves. And they never truly die.

And so ends Daffodil once more. I do hope that Mandrake had at least some sort of happy ending; I understand that she was still following Sweetie around, but she didn't seem to have as much of an attachment as Daffodil.

I also have to wonder if this means Daffodil would be able to find another filly, should she so want to... :unsuresweetie:

Both Sweetie Belle and Mandrake's souls are still tied to Daffodil. Daffodil could find other fillies, but that doesn't mean she's going to love those instead of Sweetie. She doesn't love Mandrake, for example. It might get a little strange with all those souls all bound together.

As for Mandrake, I suppose I did leave her out a little at the end. To be honest it got a little confusing :twilightblush: My idea is that she's staying low partly because it's Sweetie who has the body, so it's sort of "Sweetie's turn", and partly because Sweetie would find it rather awkward to have her around when she's ... intimate :unsuresweetie:

Anyway, there's room for sequels, I suppose. I hope you enjoyed the story.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story, as well as the writing style. Very unique, in my opinion!

It might be at times. Part of it might me the age assumption, and the way I imagine that her inner voice is more thoughtful than what she appears on the outside. Another part might just be that it's hard to write these fillies in this sort of story, and I'm sure I don't always get it perfectly right :twilightblush:
