This sucks not in the sense that it is bad; it is far from it. It is depressing and dreary, the outcome is not immediately clear, but predictable once you've reached it, as good horror should be, but it lacks the fear component to be called horror. I am sad now for having read it. I think I need to go dig out some photo albums.
