First entry to a series of short stories I will be writing on the side to Of Sunshine and Laughter, which also serves at my entry to the March Writing Contest.
Fun fact #1: (Roll over to see if you have read the story!) The meeting Rudolph mentions while at the viewing gallery refers to the official visit to Equestria
a decadetwo decades ago where he met a filly Cadance in my abandoned entry to the February Writing Contest.Fun fact #2: The United Gryphon Kingdoms is an amalgamation of the aspects of France and Germany, though currently only the German side is being shown.
Extra Fun fact #3: Long Chime is actually the Royal Equestrian Intelligence Service's Chief of Station to the Kingdom of Saxony. They don't ferry royals with a small fry, even if the "small fry" is Princess Celestia's former student.

This was pretty good. Rudolph stood out as a particularly interesting character. And it looks like I'll have to give this Of Sunshine and Laughter a read.

Thanks! Of Sunshine and Laughter is not a required read actually. These are basically side stories set in the world of Of Sunshine and Laughter so far. They may touch on the actual canon of Of Sunshine and Laughter in the future but I can't/haven't write/put them out yet without spoiling the main story right now.
