When Rarity's boutique is found to be hiding some dangerous stolen chemicals, the unicorn knows she's been framed. Unfortunately for her, the police won't believe her frantic explanations.
None of her friends have any idea where she has gone, and Sweetie Belle has been taken under the care of a secret organization, so it's up to this fashionista to use her wits to get herself out of this mess... Well, her wits and a new, unexpected friend.

Well, my writey-senses detect enjoyable and skillful writing, with a nice, clean layout and no glaring errors that jumped out at me. Also, your characterization is pretty spot-on! So, yay!
Plot-wise, it's a nice set-up (no pun intended
) and I'd love to see Rarity cope with the situation. But the clincher, for me at least, will be how you handle the romance portion and the OC(s) involved.
Will I have to break out the box of tissues? I'd love to find out!
Hmm, not bad for your first time. I must agree, your characterization of Rarity is about as spot-on as it can be, and the plot setup so far is good. As it stands, I'll award you four stars, but it looks like it's going to get a lot better. DEFINITELY going to keep an eye on this one for the next part.

Oh boy, I think the villain has appeared, and she better not do anything to Sweetie Bell, because if she does and Rarity finds out no prison in existence could hold her back...and I shudder to think of the horrible things she'd do to that Pegasus.

Yeah, I was trying to make it realistic but 1.) it's fanfiction so it doesn't really matter and 2.) it's ponies. Go figure.

It was short and sweet, but at least we got to see how Rarity met her...um, romantic interest?

So... let's start the little review.
The chapters are really short, wich is a positive and also a negative. The positive part is that it's an easy read. The negative part is that maybe some aspects of the story itself could be more well-explored... if it has short chapters, then there's a lot of cutting and jumping to other parts of the timeline.
The story is going to unfurl further, so I'm avoiding getting to that point. But a thing that bugs me: the characters feel very fast-paced. Like they knew they were going to stay only one sentence or paragraph in the story, so they act accordingly. I don't know if I'm making myself clear, but I think that you need to slow down just a bit. I know it can be really cool to be writing your fanfic, but give it time, do not haste what needs further developing.
Well... I think that's about it for my short revision. I look forward to the end of this story, I hope you'll follow the advices that you deem worthy and don't follow the ones you don't deem worthy. After all, nobody can impose anything on anyone.
