This actually sounds like an conversion bureau story worth giving a try. I stopped reading them after I couldn't find any more that didn't have that much misantrophy in them, but this sounds like it goes into a different direction, and will not include any "Humans should be exterminated by the superior ponies"

Well, this little side story is finally done. I realize this chapter in particular isn't tied to the main plot, but it serves as the bridge to the companion fic Aegis wrote over the same timeframe as this one, TCB: The Ones You Love. I highly recommend reading it, as it explores just what Aegis and Fireball do while their herdmates are over on the mainland
