Thank you! I love all the characters and I loved the idea of bringing in hard to swallow real world problems into the story as the characters progress into adulthood. It's interesting to see sides of characters you wouldn't expect and it fleshes them out as proper humans much more.

yess, I usually hc AJ and Fluttershy as the oldest ones and Pinkie and RD as the youngest. ofc bc this is in the eqg universe where they were in the same grade in the movies, the age gaps aren't too big. AJ is the oldest in this story along w sunset bc she had to repeat a year due to helping on the farm with her family. and with Sunset, I mean it's not really sensical making her the same age as the others seeing as shes older than pony twi. Idk if I'll write the rest of the ages into the story but I have a really fun little chart with all their ages and heights.

There are some Equestria Girls fanfics that lean more towards reality in terms of story telling. That, by itself, is fine. But, a few of those stories also get pretty dark, arguably too dark for the sake of being realistic.

Oh yes haha. I’m not the biggest fan of writing dark stories. This story is definitely more about healing through friendship and love than anything else. Id say Rainbows storyline with her dad is the darkest this story will get, and it won’t be anything too crazy haha
