Humans. Dumb little things. They've been around for awhile, but they weren't very useful at the start of their existence. At least at first. Enchant their bodies with some In Skin Obedience Runes to have total command over them, and you have the perfect little slave for pony society. A creature that could do all the hard work, so ponies could reap the rewards. With their small size and lack of magic, there was no changing that.
At least that was the idea up until now.

I think the one of the reason for dislikes is how would a small human the size only reaching a ponys ankle be any help as a slave? Are the humans fully size? Toddler size? What size are they? Using your story picture as an example it makes things already hard to get into something so tiny would just be a rabbit or other small animal.

You've mentioned a few times that humans are smaller than ponies. Are the ponies the size of large horses or are humans halfling-sized? Or is it a case of humans being a slave caste, they're malnourished and don't grow to full adult height?
