Yes this really is the ending I want to give my story. I like to give my stories open endings it gives the reader room to think about the story a little bit. To be completely honest I do not know what happens next anymore than you do. Maybe someday I will write a sequel to this but I have no plans right now.Edit: Starting to think I might write more of this after all but first I'm teaching myself to draw so I can make some cover art.

The communication between Twilight and her arms is fascinating. You manage to make them seem every bit as naive as newborn AI should be.
Spike's skepticism and nervousness about Twilight's new invention is well written too.

Glad you liked it. I'm not sure I'm going to make this a horror story per se, though disturbing stuff could happen. Don't know when chapter 2 will be I am kind of struggling with writers block right now.

Not really.
Robotic parts can break down too and if my body really starts to age that badly, then I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life in a metal can, dependent on some manufacturer or other to fix me.
I swear that if Twilight and her arms aren't making out by the end, there's no hope.
