“Hey, you. You’re finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there.”

:facehoof:. Love the story though, Was worried about the Anthro tag. Glad to see it's just on Tamriel. Also looks like you hit enter at some point. There's a big gap in a sentence near the end. Or maybe it's just me.

Celestia nodded. “I and my sister have both gone into that realm, one time each when we were younger, but after we became alicorns. We went in separately, as we were instructed, and we learned a great deal. Luna took to it better than I did but we both survived.”

Considering Twilight seems to be setting up to be the Dragonborn, makes me wonder what heroes of the Elder Scrolls were in fact, Celestia and Luna. Upvote and faved for sure.

The first human quietly scoffed. “Empire loves their damn lists.”

Well, we know which faction Twilight's going to join.

You have my attention keep up the good work.

To be fair, if you pay attention to the lore, the Empire are the good guys in the civil war. Ulfric is just a pawn of the Thalmor to weaken the Empire before the next Great War.

I think Twilight should choose the Empire. Maybe first head to the College of Winterhold though. I know she'll love it there!

11375192
So, you vote for Empire?

11375179
You have my respect, I hope the story lives up to your expectations.

11375203
Yup! And College of Winterhold!

11375205
Make it two votes. One for me as well.

Imperial is my vote a lot of options for Twilight in that choice. There are if course options the other way though not as much as going imperial at least from all the play throughs I've done personally.

I also think that diplomatically she maybe able to end this civil war with all coming together although it seems that she's being set up to be the dragonborn looking forward to more.

I vote for imperials.

Imperials are more to twilights tolerant sensibilities.

I have never played any of the Elder Scroll games, don't have the reflexes, puts me on the same level as Twilight when it comes to information. Any decisions you get from me will be as if I was playing as Twilight in game.

That said, the empire seems like well armed bullies. I would vote going against them, but be cautious at this time. It'd be easy for them to end this story early. Also be ready to adjust you alliances as more info comes to light.

11376086
Here's the thing. The Stormcloaks are not the cut and dry 'good' side of the civil war. Neither is the Empire the cut and dry 'bullies'. They're both being played against each other by another power to set up another war, where both of these two sides lose.

Precisely because they are at each other's throats. Stormcloaks are also racist against anything that isn't a Nord. Oh sure, you can join them in the game. But the racism is still there.

My vote is Empire it's better choice and I wonder who's Twilight lover is going to be

I haven't thought that far ahead to be honest. I normally play male characters so I never really looked at the marriage options for a female character. I do plan to write the story outside the normal rules of the game so I suppose any unmarried male is a possibility. If you have a personal favorite husband candidate for a female mage, let me know.

11381667
There's an Nord Mage in the College of Winterhold named onmund and he's around Twilight's age I think he's be the perfect match for Twilight

11381673
Could be interesting to write. His parents already disapproved of him being a mage. Getting married to a non-Nord could have some sparks.

11381695
And he has a mind like Twilight who's eager to learn the way he's of Magicka and he's somewhat powerful too. And having his parents already disown him because he wants to learn the ways of Magicka and if he marries a non Nord then they will really disowned.

11381700
He wasn't the first person that came to mind but I'll add him to the list

Are we talking about the perk trees or the boon stones that are shortly after helgin. The way you posed the question is the reason I ask?

Go with the Mage Stone I like to think that healing potions is cherry flavor and stamina potions taste like Sprite. I wonder what Twilight looks like in her Anthro form and how attractive she is. So far loving the story. And I like having a mod where they have the Roman Legion armor

11382271
Perk tree. Twilight using the Mage stone seems like a foregone conclusion

11382280
I'm not an artist but if someone wants to produce some art of anthro Twilight in Imperial Armor or wearing Mage Robes, I'll add it to the story

11382470
Then I suppose you are separating the perk tree as warrior mage and thief. With mage having all the perks from alchemy enchanting and the magic schools. With warrior and thief having there own skill set within the perk trees, What three perks or skills should twilight have from start well blacksmithing would give her the skills to repair make and maintain her equipment as well as providing her some income. Though having stronger magic attacks can benefit her as well getting adept level spell casting for Destruction and restoration magic would help as well but her learning the other meatheads of defense will be of benefit as well MP or magicka runs out and takes time to recharge. I'm stumped on this one been awhile since I've done a pure mage build in Skyrim.

According to the Elder Scrolls Wiki:

Warrior is Block, Heavy Armor, Smithing, One-Handed, Two-handed and Archery.

Mage is Alteration, Conjunction, Destruction, Enchanting, Illusion and Restoration

Thief is Alchemy, Light Armor, Lockpicking, Pickpocket, Sneak and Speech.

The general idea of the next chapter is that Twilight and Hadvar will go to Riverwood and then 'something' is going to happen that gives Twilight basically 3 free perk points to booster her starting skills, but, she has to apply one perk per adventuring category. "For Balance". I hope it makes sense when I write the actual chapter. Just wanted to know what the fans would choose if forced to choose along narrow lines and strict rules.

11382956

I see. I'd go with smithing, lock picking and enchanting. For the advantages they can provide and gives her options.

11382976
Interesting choice. I would have never considered that combination, but I can see the benefits, especially as free perks, it would be useful in the beginning of the story arc. I was leaning towards Destruction, Sneak and Smithing. I hope other people also vote. I'd love to see what other people think.

Thinking character-appropriateness. . .

For Warrior, either Smithing (Twilight has created or modified artifacts and tools, including the modifications she made to Star Swirl's mirror portal and, though it's in the future, the Unity Crystals) or Block (she is fond of using shields, albeit magic shields, in combat). For Thief, either Sneak (a la her break-in at the Canterlot Archives), Speech (for her preferred method of solving problems), or Alchemy (she tutored Apple Bloom in potion-making, she must have some knowledge of the art). For Mage she could easily take any skill bar Restoration and be comfortable with it. Alteration and Enchantment are probably the most, though.

Perhaps Smithing, Alchemy, and Enchantment, for every facet of artifice?

11383248
Solid choices. Thank you for the input.

Don't forget about the lovers Stone don't try to hump though don't let the name fool you.

11395497
Lover's Stone gives a 10% experience boost to all skills but it's all the way in Markarth. And Twilight won't know about it until she reads the book 'Watcher of Stones' which I guess she'll have to buy or randomly find in a cave or bandit camp. It's going to be interesting to see what direction Twilight goes next after Riverwood.

Panic attack!!! Lol oh the irony, Twilight was obviously embarrassed by that skill but it does have its uses. So she went the thief route to start. From a logical standpoint good choice increases 7 skills instead of 5 and will benefit her and help her gain additional weapon options.

I say she helps neither of them they're both creeps just trying to do one the other. And if you have to choose a house get the house in Whiterun you can get it for free and all you do is pay is furniture

11402149
On the console, the house in Whiterun is still 5,000 gold plus the furniture adds up to like 1850 or something close. It would be nice if the Jarl awarded the house as a gift for being made a thane.

I was leaning towards helping neither of them too. Or helping both in a way that helps neither. I just wasn't sure how popular my solution would be, which is why I asked what the fans wanted to see

Faendal and Sven can both get in the sea.

You got to let Twilight kill the Dark Brotherhood the Dark Brotherhood is pure evil Twilight would never join them. If she does that be helping the Empire and it could boost her name in The Empire. Delphine's a b**** she wants to kill parfurnax even when he helps kill the world eater . Paraphernax what is better to be born good or overcome your evil nature

11411037
All fair points. Now, should I plan to allow Twilight to join the Silver Hand and wipe out the Warewolves of the Companions? Or create a story line where she could join the circle without being forced to become a Warewolf

11411048
Join the companions without being forced to become a werewolf and cure them before Maine death

In all my play throughs I've never gotten that option or result with comida. Looking good looking forward to the next. I too would like to see how you could pull not becoming a wolf yet still being in the companions

11411224
The fun part about fan fiction is you get to make it up as you go along. It's a crossover and I'm following most of the rules of Skyrim, including mods and creation club. Trying to keep it within the realm of possibility but keeping in mind that Twilight isn't going to do the same limited things that the game made the Dragonborn do. Besides. Nobody liked Sven or Faendal so I had to get creative

11411248
True don't forget the farm you can get as a players home from the creation club by far the best home I've found. It could be very useful to Twi. One thing I have hated about Skyrim was it's lacking in transportation options Twilight getting a wagon for her horse or horses could be helpful in long distance traveling between the major cities. I can't remember if you had a reaction on Twilight seeing a horse or not off the top of my head.

Man everybody must be on skooma or something they keep talking about hate criticals leveling up something about health ba at 100 of magic ba at 100 time stops when are you leveling up. When Preston Garvey get in there

11422235
I think it's funny too. I wanted to keep the video game aspect to it but I thought i explained why it works that way in earlier chapters. I wanted it to have more realism than simply because of the gods or magic.

Can you imagine how life would go if you could see your "stats'.

'Man, I wish I could do that but my endurance isn't high enough.'
