Indecision in the early part of the contest led to scrapping of nearly a half-dozen ideas. That was followed by a busy end of the month that included the most disastrous vacation of my life, and led to a scramble to produce something for this contest in a 24 hour timeframe. This is the result.
If you found the core concept of this story interesting, but the comedy didn't land for you, or you just want a far more serious take, I strongly encourage you to check out the original story, which is (in my opinion) far better.
The fiction seems a bit rushed a bit.

I honestly didn't care about the core concept, but I thought by the wording of the tags that I might catch some Cozy Glow fluff... and I was right!
I really liked the interactions between her and Tirek. Tirek being a wholesome dad is still cute and you make the dynamic work really well.
Plus you nailed Cozy's innocent season 8 vibe, which is probably one of my favorite bits about the character.
Although some of the jokes do land better than others.
Chrysalis being a lush, the unknown horror that Tirek performs, and the competition between Tirek and Sombra.
I can't say that the ending is funny per say, but I've always considered it a likely possibility to explain why Cozy is the way she is, and you don't portray it as a innocent or positive thing, which is still better than a lot of writers on the site.
Congratulations, this absolutely defies categorization. I had quite a lot of fun reading it, though.

I gave it a fairly nice ranking, if only for the fact it's both hilarious and unique.
Aww. Pity this one seems to end in the middle. I found it a hilarious sequel, especially knowing how the temple worked. Having the villains together for it was fun. Even if the story itself wasn’t your fav to write it was still fun to read you have great prose
