God dang Sunset is an ass in this, beyond that it was pretty good.
An earfin twitched. Spike rolled his eyes and kept sweeping. "Mammals."
Delightful bit of fun across multiple worlds... though Sunset may want to volunteer more information next time. Still, I always enjoy something with my favorite pairing.

I suppose it's a regrettable side effect of the story's tone drifting away from me during development. Originally I envisioned this being a more comedic story. Sunset Shimmer would find when they got to Equestria that Twilight Sparkle actually had a lot more sex-related horse knowledge than she expected, and combined with her inherently being an alicorn it would throw off Sunset Shimmer's sense of control, making her more the butt of the joke by the end. Along the way though I ended up getting drawn more into the drama of their relationship and the slow burn leading into sex, it meant Sunset didn't get any major comeuppance and there wasn't really much point to Twilight being an alicorn. I guess it's inevitable that I trend more toward the big pathos when I can.
