Hot, but the fridge logic of the curse acts like a turn off. "Nothing but misery awaits her for the rest of her days…" is quite a way to make someone suffer for decades because they were a moron as a teenager, no matter what they might do or how much their mind might change...

Sure, it's the idea of the fic and maybe we'll know the nature of said curse in the sequel, but damn that's sad
