Still, this was a surprise. Wonder how this will go? I’ll make my judgement after 3 or 4 chapters, like I always do.
I hope this story doesn't go astray like the other story (in my opinion) because I loved it but when that crossover came I lost the story, I still tried to follow it but I no longer had the same emotion with which I started reading it.

So Ivy is the origin of the everfree that makes sense. I wonder if Ivy did it to protect Harley or if Ivy did it to protect someone else. The only other person I could think of off the top of my head to manipulate plant life like that is Swamp Thing and he cannot be called a fairy even if he can grow wings. After mentioning him that makes me think can't Jason contact him? One of the main features of Swamp Thing is if plant life still exists he still exists so it's quite probable that Jason could call upon him if he tried to. This would actually be a good way to have a second opinion on Jason for Celestia and others to listen to since he would be a direct source from that time in the past.
I kinda like how just like most anti-heroes and villains Jason Todd is a bit of a psychopath. The characteristics of a psychopath is boldness, superficial charm, pathological lying, lack of empathy or remorse, inclination to violence and manipulation, impulsivity, and narcissism, which I think well describes a villain and anti-hero.

Personally, I really don't want Celestia, Luna, and the Mane Six to antagonize Jason, and falsely defending the real criminals once again, like the last story. I just want to be the Lovey dovey, and help them heal Jason straight away. I mean, he has been though f**k up shit, and is the last of humanity even. I don't want him to be antagonize some more, or he will go ballistic!
As for Shining?
On one hand, I'm not really thrilled of having Shining being this OOC a-hole to Jason, Cadence, Twilight, Celestia, or everypony in general.
I seen this same OOC jerk "tactic" in other stories, many times. ( Even Celestia, Twilight, or the entirety of the Mane Six been used too much, and become OOC bitches. )
As for Shining's case? It's really a cliche excuse for the main protagonist ( Like Jason for example. ) to have Cadence without any marriage "issues". And also gave the protagonist to use a evil/major jerk Shining as a pony punching bag.
Personally, he is more treated like the MLP fanfic version of frickin Sasuke, Ron or Bakugo from Naruto, Harry Potter, and MHA fanfictions respectively. ( And I like Canon Ron, and Canon Shining Armor. BUT I hate Canon Sasuke, and Canon Bakugo. So, screw those last two!! )
But, that's my opinion.
Agreed. And personally, I think with Jason being with Celestia/Luna, etc.. He will personally help them FIX the law, legal system, and NOT be "too soft" on the very deserving a-holes.

You wanna know one of the things I like about Red Hood/Arkham Knight is that his greatest power isn’t just drawing fear into criminals, but his greatest power is also knowing how meaningless criminal’s lives really are.

For me, what I love about Red Hood is that while yes he does put down criminals, he isn't out to kill EVERY criminal. He wouldn't murder a simple thief or something smallish like that. Beat the crap out of? Yes, of course. But kill them? No. Jason knew went to let bullets fly and when to not kill.
But in this story? He has been through trauma after trauma after trauma to the point where his mind has nearly, if not already, been broken. As I have stated before, this story will be dark. Very, VERY dark.
