Weeks prior to the fall of Vaverfront to the Changeling offensive, a detective working on a case learns about the future plans to smuggle out Queen Velvet from the country and into Equestria for asylum once the inevitable fall of the country comes around. The detective is then tasked directly with seeing through the plans as the countries war drags on, land and deer being taken every day.
This story takes place inside of the Equestria At War Universe Mod for Hearts of Iron 4.
Some characters mentioned aren't my creation, as they appear inside the mod. I'm just giving them a (shitty) character.

chapter 3 is at 1511 words right now, i plan on having it be 2,500 words+, but i personally would like it to be 3,000plus. I'm working on it though.

As it stands right now, i think the story could end in 2-4 chapters, but I just got a drawing pad thing for digital drawing and have been practicing drawing for the first time ever. There might/potentially already will be a delay to chapters for a bit.
i need to complete this story cuz i want to work on another one
no clue how fast that'll be with completing this one but my plan if i do it, is to write this other story in it's entiretly and then release it, but that's enough for false promises that i'm not even guaranteeing will happen
