Oh yes she did! I used the Trixie version from DWK, and I think you're right, it is Our Town, and finally, while Celestia did create the diary and mirror, it was Twilight who combined them into the portal that she use for the second movie, this version didn't have a time limit like the mirror alone in the first movie. Other than some Grammar and sentence structure issues I have to say I am enjoying it, it’s not often you see an Author that has the balls to put a hole in this ship for shits and giggles.
I will be honest, I never got the whole Trixie/Starlight ship. It just seemed like a ticking time bomb ready to go off at the drop of a bit.
Don’t get me wrong, I love both Characters, but both of them as a couple? Yeah no, one of them would be dead before the end of the week at best.

Thanks for the encouragement, really appreciated, and I do like to get a laugh from stepping in someone's precious toes so I don't mind the hate that much, for me it means that another person read my story and for me that's a plus, and I agree, if those two were together they would have killed the heck out of each other already or had a toxic relationship for the rest of their lives, but again, if we can get a laugh out of it, then that's another plus.

Yessssssssssssssss it´s Discord after insulting him a lot, Trixie finally gets her karma for doing so, make her suffer best draconeqeus but not too much, I prefer her alive, unharmed, and not mentally broken but still make her suffer a bit.
(One of my old warnings was a bit too disturbing for me so I took it out but if you´ve been on this site so long, you´d know some stories are kinda disturbing no offense to any writers out there, so yeah sorry if you saw the old warning, I was just being paranoid but the axe kinda freaked me out and I jumped to worst-case scenario, again so sorry).
I consider myself very reasonable but Trixie your a b***h.
Alright now I can be serious, ahem is it wrong I somewhat think Trixie would do this to Starlight, she´s not exactly very caring, and from what Season 7 showed us, she´s willing to throw Starlight under the bus to save her ass. While she´s probably not a cheater due to the fact she seems to really care about Starlight, I wouldn´t fully put it against her to do so. She´s a good friend but probably a terrible marefriend. Starlight acting the way she did was totally justified as she was just cheated on and in the context of the story this isn´t the first time this happened to her. While I don´t condone her trying to blast Trixie her reasons for doing so are somewhat reasonable.

Ok, first thing, I get the same vibe about Trixie been a good but somehow crappy friend and a terrible marefriend, like, she would forget her birthday but the. When she finally remembers she would take her to do something outrageous, like get drunk and spit just inches from the edge of a pending bridge, now Starlight wouldn't be a perfect partner neither but nobody is in reality but I feel like Trixie is more self-centered and vindictive, if she accepts she did something wrong she would just do the minimum to be forgiven but if she feels you did wrong to her then she wouldn't rest until she gets even like what happened with Twilight, at least Starlight is a little more aware of her flaws which leads her to improve.
Now about Discord, well, he's frickin Discord, he does shit for giggles, he's the meme king of Equestria and loves role-playing so, when Twilight told him, I need somecreature in charge of punishment and reform or bad behavior Discord was like ' I'm your guy Twiggles, I'm your guy's.

Yeah Starlight’s not the best romantic partner, but hey better if she’s reformed when she does gain a crush, now while I doubt she’d abuse some pony even in her villain days, she’s a bit obsessive but not to the point where she’d mind control some pony, she’s better than that. I know this because:

Well, she did end up mind controlling Twilight's friends in one chapter and was kind of obsessive with Sunburn in another one but that was before she become more mentally stable. Neither, in this story, Twilight wanted to reform villains without violence, and one way to do it is to torture the heck out of the villain so bad that the mere thought of doing something sinester they would get shivers, and Discord been Discord would be up for the job, more so if it is with a friend like Trixie, he would enjoy it.
