I like it so far - the writing’s really good and it has a nice flows. I think a little more body language is the only critique I have, but honestly, you’re doing great! Don’t worry about update times too much, just have fun writing and don’t stress about it.

Good setup at the cave entrance there, not to mention Twilight-Mom worrying about Spike going. Course her freakouts will probably come back in full at whatever the next chapters have in store!
I dunno, Twi...I kinda expect that they'd be thinking to themselves "why didn't we ever think of that?" right about now.
I'm worrying. She won't. And that Dash has no intention of correcting that.
Of course, there's always the chance that the really interesting stuff starts going down well before we even reach that point...which, considering the story's summary, seems likely, doesn't it?

Lol, you're probably right about the princesses.
So...Spike's got wings here. I can understand certain spots of the cave might be too narrow for proper flight, but there are plenty of other times where I'm thinking him using his wings would be a good idea...like trying to chase after AJ after she's swept downriver. Or, for that matter, getting to the other side of the river. And a couple other instances.
Other than that, everything continuing to be of interest.

Yeah, the minute AJ decided not to use that map at the beginning just to show off Rainbow already doomed this trip!
Thing sure escalated quickly at the end there though, can't wait to see how they get out of this one.
And the tension rises yet again with that cliffhanger, at the very least Spike got to finally use his wings earlier in the chapter. Hopefully he gets to do so again no matter what happens! Also wonder if RD will sense something has gone wrong with AJ & Spike, here's hoping!

This chapter sure had it's ups & downs, especially for poor Spike here. Ever since AJ got dunked into that river a few chapters ago the possibility of her getting hypothermia did crossed my mind (and a few reviewers as well for what I saw in previous comments), here's hoping things turn for the better next chapter!

I actually was about to stop and point out that 96.8 didn't seem that low right when I read it, but then I stopped to think that maybe it is for an equine so I looked it up, and what do you know. It's just so many authors humanize this side of MLP so much, sometimes you forget to stop and consider things like that.
