Well this is starting off interesting and unexpected
Yes, I haven't read this yet as my style is to wait for the story to be completed so I can read it my pace without waiting for the next chapter, but I'm glad to see the next adventure has begun!
And I officially hate Tender Taps, and it’s not just because what the ending implicates

Ouch, Rumble must feel really bad that his break up also caused his brother’s break up.
Real smooth Rumble. Dating the girl you cheated on with Sweetiebelle. Basically, Cozy Glow won, she broke them up and got Rumble all to herself.
Well, did not expect Diamond Tiara to have a thing for Rumble. At least she knows she might have messed up acting in the heat of the moment. And still, at least she’d be a better choice than Cozy Glow.
Man, everyone just seems so unsure of how they feel. Also, I’m still wondering how all these villains came to power. Hope that will be explained later.
Well, there is one part that kinda doesn't make sense at least to my knowledge. Particularly this part.
"Dang Rumble, lucky you," Dinky said. "Starting to think you prefer blank flanks because the flanks already look nice without the mark."
Don't the CMC already have their cutie marks at this point?

She's trying to reference his dislike for Cutie Marks and the time he tried urging foals to not earn their Cutie Marks. Another way of it would be "So do you not like Cutie Marks because they limit you or because they cover up the goods?" The CMC (And Cozy Glow for that matter) all have their Cutie Marks.
So the victory and turning to stone did play out like in the show. Though obviously someone set them free somewhere later along the line. When is Rumble gonna learn, Cozy Glow is a lost cause. You can’t change someone who doesn’t want to change. Hopefully one day he’ll realize Twilight did everything she could, everything Cozy Glow does now, it’s all on herself.
I feel more bad for Sonata. Unlike Cozy she actually seemed to put in the effort to become a better person and earn their trust, but her toxic relationship with her fellow sirens just regrettably dragged her back to the wrong side. If anyone should have gotten a chance for redemption it's her. Cozy can go back to being a garden ornament for all I care.

I wouldn’t mind is this was the finale addition to the Sweet Affection series. Definitely feels like a proper ending.
Question, did Rumble only impregnate Dinky or did he also do Applebloom as well which if he did means he has kids from 4 different mares.

I am rather outraged by this! Poor Rumble have tried so hard to reform Cozy Glow, and Discord just had to ruin it by dragging her, along with Chrysalis, Tirek and the sirens into his selfish plot to 'help' Twilight gain more confidence! And poor Sonata, she just wanted to change for the better and make friends, but Discord have ruined it for her too by dragging her into his so-called plan! And yet he gets off scot-free for it and is still considered a friend to the ponies while Cozy, Tirek, Chrysalis and the sirens got turned into stone for what he had them doing!
